Let’s say his crime was possessing a .45 bullet in Mexico.

Let’s say he drove back home, over the border, and someone viewed a video where they saw the bullet he had possessed.

Would you want him to be extradited back to Mexico to spend 20 years in prison, because owning .45 bullets is illegal there??

Or...let’s say he possessed a Bible in Saudi Arabia, then flew home with that same Bible.

And someone took a picture of him reading that Bible, and Saudi Arabia wants him extradited back so they can kill him for blasphemy.

Would you want to extradite him?

My point is that barbaric countries, which Zim is, have different laws and sometimes it’s barbarous to subject Americans to their injustice, as such would happen were we to send the dentist back to Zimbabwe.

I support him being extradited. Here is why:

Murderers who make their way to Mexico are never extradited unless the US/state/municipality agrees to not use the death penalty. Even those who are here illegally - they chose to come here and break the law, and suddenly don’t like the penalties. When these things happen, we complain loudly about Mexico meddling in our laws. Rightfully so.

He chose Zimbabwe carefully, no doubt because it was a place that he could jet into, bag a lion, and jet out, not having to worry too much about the law.

He did things that might very well get him thrown in prison here (burying the tag, baiting the animal, animal cruelty -using an underpowered bow).

So, unless you are okay with Mexico or any other country dictating to our justice system, he needs to go. I’m not ready to hand our sovereignty to Mexico or anywhere else, and neither should anywhere else.

And again, if Zimbabwe is okay for poaching, it’s okay for prison.

Personally, I avoid places that are so inherently unsafe or unstable as to constitute a risk to me.

I am not sure that anyone in Zimbabwe knows what the laws are, at any time, for certain.

I believe that Mugabe can basicly change the law at any point, if he wants to, and the courts there will be made to uphold it.

Zimbabwe is a dictatorship.
