It’s still a nice city. This is an inner city of Baltimore that’s causing all the trouble. I was there on the 4th for about 3 days and enjoyed it very much. Great food, good museums and it is very pretty and loaded with American history.

We enjoyed it as well. But the clear and present danger that the denizens of the "hood" may come boiling out to overwhelm you and yours always exists.

The Inner Harbor is a fun place to visit — during the day. After dark, not so much.

I “lived” 30+ years in the WDC area and visited baltimore a number of times. It is not a pleasant city. Even in the “tourist areas” you are at considerable risk. There are no high fences to keep the ferals away from you. Good luck visiting there...especially after dark.
