The U.S. intelligence community is bracing for the possibility that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clintons private email account contains hundreds of revelations of classified information from spy agencies and is taking steps to contain any damage to national security, according to documents and interviews Thursday.
The top lawmakers on the House and Senate intelligence committee have been notified in recent days that the extent of classified information on Mrs. Clintons private email server was likely far more extensive than the four emails publicly acknowledged last week as containing some sensitive spy agency secrets.
A U.S. official directly familiar with the notification, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity, said the notification of possibly hundreds of additional emails with classified secrets came from the State Department Freedom of Information Act office to the Office of Inspector General for the Director of National Intelligence.
The inspector general, the chief oversight watchdog for the entire U.S. intelligence community, subsequently sent a letter to the Republican chairmen and ranking Democrats of the Senate and House intelligence committees, the official said.
We were informed by State FOIA officials that there are potentially hundreds of classified emails within the 30,000 provided for former Secretary Clinton, DNI Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III late last week wrote Sen. Richard Burr, North Carolina Republican; Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat; Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican; and Rep. Adam B. Schiff, California Democrat.
We note that none of the emails we reviewed had classification or dissemination markings but some included IC-derived classified information and should have been handled as classified, appropriately marked and transmitted via a secure server, Mr. McCullough wrote the four lawmakers.

And, of course, "political skank" also describes those in the fifth-column media, such as David, Scott, and Lester.
I think you missed my point: We all know that the Clinton's are a criminal enterprise. But the Obama administration is full of criminals from the peeps running the IRS crackdown on Conservatives to Holder and his gun-running scheme. And yet, out of all the perps the Obama could have and should have prosecuted, he chooses to go after a fellow commie who, if elected, will dismantle Obama's "red" legacy to install her own "red" legacy.
????
Incompetent??
This was calculated- may have used her “server”
to:
A. Betray this country-willingly give away secrets
B. Extort money
C. Bribe her enemies and Friends- for more money
D. all of the above
What was her official reason for not using the official, the secure State Department system?? and what was the actual reason??
Is it possible Hilary purposely did not want a secure system for nefarious reasons? Could she be in cahoots with our enemies?
By nature I am not a conspiracy type, but the more I learn about that woman, the more I wonder.
Not only have the Russians and Chinese hacked into Hillary’s server, they have quietly informed her they hacked into her server. She’s been shown copies of her e-mails by her Russian and Chinese contacts.
They own her. They know it. She knows it.
I'd think the Chinese already have enough information about her and Bill's illegal fundraising from the Clinton administration to own her already.
“Oh yeah, Scooter passed along gossip that Joe Wilsons wife was driving to Langley everyday because she was a CIA employee, thereby causing grave damage too US national security.”
Actually it was Richard Armitage who ‘outed’ Valerie Plame. He admitted it right off the bat. He wasn’t close enough to Bush,
however, so the wildly partisan prosecutor kept hauling Scooter in for interrogations until he finally tripped Libby up in a ‘process crime.’
Bush should have instantly pardoned him, pointed out Armitage’s ‘guilt’ and let the hyena press choke on it.
She would not be in cahoots with the enemy because of any loyalty to the enemy
An examination of Hillary’s life would show that everything she has ever done is about her own interest except perhaps she cares about Chelsea
So that would be our president
A woman who triangulates every every situation to favor her own interests
I do believe even the flawed child of an alcoholic, the preternaturally charming Bubba, has some conscience and at least knows right from wrong , but Hillary is broken
Remind us of what why Petraeus was convicted?
That’s the exact point Trump has been making, over the Hilary! email fiasco.
Probably sold to the highest bidder.
Benghazi(sp)?
They didn’t know about the emails then? Really?
I read that agents would monitor such things as late night delivery of pizzas to the Whitehouse, to determine if the Whitehouse was in some kind of crisis mode.
My point is you do not need access to any classified documents to gain important intelligence from access to something like a mail server.
General Petraeus to Hillary Clinton “You are going to look good in orange”.
Congress warned: Hillarys e-mails likely contained hundreds of exposures of classified nat-sec data
I think she felt she should have been President and it was taken away. So she tried to run a government within a government, and yes, used it to enrich herself (through foundation). I never said she wasn’t many things, she is, but we should add “incompetent” to the list, she didn’t appear to know what made something classified. She seems to think that unless the State Dept declares something “classified” then it isn’t. So if she has emails nobody else has she thinks they can’t be classified. Therefore they were never deleted.
...monumentally stupid if true.
Does Hillary know even her State Dept calendar is considered classified?
Why do I have this funny feeling that the Russians and Chinese have already hacked into Hillary’s server.
