The U.S. intelligence community is bracing for the possibility that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private email account contains hundreds of revelations of classified information from spy agencies and is taking steps to contain any damage to national security, according to documents and interviews Thursday.
The top lawmakers on the House and Senate intelligence committee have been notified in recent days that the extent of classified information on Mrs. Clinton’s private email server was likely far more extensive than the four emails publicly acknowledged last week as containing some sensitive spy agency secrets.
A U.S. official directly familiar with the notification, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity, said the notification of possibly hundreds of additional emails with classified secrets came from the State Department Freedom of Information Act office to the Office of Inspector General for the Director of National Intelligence.
The inspector general, the chief oversight watchdog for the entire U.S. intelligence community, subsequently sent a letter to the Republican chairmen and ranking Democrats of the Senate and House intelligence committees, the official said.
“We were informed by State FOIA officials that there are potentially hundreds of classified emails within the 30,000 provided for former Secretary Clinton,” DNI Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III late last week wrote Sen. Richard Burr, North Carolina Republican; Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat; Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican; and Rep. Adam B. Schiff, California Democrat.
“We note that none of the emails we reviewed had classification or dissemination markings but some included IC-derived classified information and should have been handled as classified, appropriately marked and transmitted via a secure server,” Mr. McCullough wrote the four lawmakers.

that is the crux of the matter. Since day one eons ago in the 90’s, the 60’s mindset was that there was no need for security. Everything was over classified.
Hillary can thus say truthfully that the emails were not classified because she classified nothing. That is where “contained” becomes operative. Hillary received classified material and then commented on it in her e mail that she without doubt insisted not be classified.
In WW II she would have been quietly exterminated. She now needs to be quietly exterminated

Since when did national security take priority over any Clinton money-grab (or intern-grab)?
It sounds like she didn’t understand that just because she has emails that hasn’t been marked “classified” by the State Dept. it doesn’t mean they’re not. It’s my understanding that there’s rules for identifying what is classified and she should have known them. If she didn’t understand this then she wouldn’t have been handling them correctly and probably didn’t delete them either. ....so there could be hundreds, or more, of them.

It may be, however if so this is another evidence of Zero’s lack of intelligence. So far 4 emails have been acknowledged as mishandled due to the classifiable content. There are likely tens to hundreds more. Even if all the classifiable content emails originated from Shrillary’s account, no one on the receiving end did anything about it. There is no indication anyone ever recognized the classified nature of the content and took action. Utter incompetence throughout the organization. Every person who should have been “read in” and thus at least have access to the appropriate classification guide failed to notice the problem of receiving an unmarked email in an insecure manner?
Further - and this is where Zero and his minions likely have a bigger problem - what about the emails sent to her highness? Did any of them have classifiable information, unmarked and obviously sent outside the controls of a secure system. What about emails from Zero himself?
The extent of the damage is likely immeasurable - it is expected that hackers who had figured out her system were intercepting everything, coming and going.
Congress needs to act, it needs to pass another special prosecutor law. Democrat Senators may try to filibuster it. Zero will veto it. But at least the American people can be informed who’s hiding the ball. There are enough in the middle that any sense of patriotism will prevent their voting to continue the socialist regime.
And hopefully the next administration will not pull another Bush to just “move on” and ignore the crimes of his/her predecessor’s administration.

Therein lies the crux of the problem. Of course, now it has been "wiped clean" and I think I read/heard somewhere the drives destroyed. That is unfortunate, intentional, and criminal. With them it might have been possible to examine the system and determine just how badly it was compromised. That it was compromised by one or more foreign intel agencies is virtually certain.
