Pardon me. Should have said she supports sodomite “marriage”.
And Walker does too but he’s afraid to admit it.
Nationally, now? No way. Maybe in Ohio....and maybe nationally 15 years ago...but not now, no way.
Their talkies don't trust Walker. See him as a flip flopper who is squishy on social issues.
I don’t think it’s going to stay that way, Cruz is going to come on strong, but you may be right that Kasich lost a lot of his name rec, ironically, when he went off TV and became governor.
...and let’s be honest, he hasn’t had success as governor like he did as the reform mayor of Cleveland.
Cruz is big on FR, and with good reason.
In the Republican world at large, not so much.
But he has lots of dough and is raising more and should persist to the final run to the finish.
I believe Cruz will ultimately leave the GOP and start a new party and take some Senators with him.
It’s not just FR...it’s the entire conservative internet. It’s Town Hall, it’s Breitbart, it’s World Net Daily.........way way way way way way way more than just FR.
Before or after the 2016 primary cycle?
Not sure of the timing. I think it also ties in with Trump, because Trump is creating the environment that will encourage such a move, should the GOPe continue to try to suppress him, it will create a civil war within the party, and defections as a result. McConnell doesn’t realize the thin ice he’s walking on right now.
If that’s true, why is he so weak in most polls?
Does this imply conservatives are a small proportion of Republicans?
Nov 14th is the deadline for the Texas R primary.
So we’ll definitely know by then.
Great link
Several answers, and you must take them all together to get the whole picture. A: polls are driven by Jurassic media and faux conservative outlets like Fox and WSJ....and that universe is trying like heck to sell the lie that Cruz is unelectable. Polls are far more likely to be intended to drive public opinion than really reflect it. B: Polls at this time are meaningless....this time four years ago, we were looking at Rick Perry V Michelle Bachmann.....how close was that to what happened when it counted. THE GAME HASNT EVEN STARTED YET. C: the internet readers, the donors, small donors....and the talk radio network....are all extremely positive about Cruz. THEY ARE LEADING INDICATORS. This will very likely play out over time.
I suggest you quit reading the pre season predictions and think you're reading the fourth quarter scoreboard. The game has not even started yet.
When will Walker get a college degree?
Is he attending college to finish his degree?
Has he authored any books?
Trump has authored 15 books that I know of:
The Art of the Deal
The Art of the Comeback
The America We Deserve
The Way to the Top
How to Get Rich
Think Like a Billionaire
The Best Golf Advice I Ever Recieved
Why We Want You To Be Rich
The Best Real Estate Advice I Ever Received
Trump 101: The Way to Success
Think Big and Kick Ass
Never Give Up
Think Like a Champion
Midas Touch
Time To Get Tough
The degree thing doesn’t bother me. The family thing is a bit more of a concern. Anyway, he’s not my first choice but I will work for him, donate to him and vote for him if he is the nominee. He did kick butt against the parasitic public sector unions and that counts a lot to me.
I’ve said for 6 months the finalists will be Trump, Bush, and Cruz.
They have the money.
If Hillary remains a basically unopposed D candidate, I believe enough Dems will do an Op Chaos to nominate Bush.
Then we get a Tea Party candidate on the ballot in enough red states to make it look like 1992.
Hillary wins with 40% but 370 evs.
The country is not the same as it was in 1992. I think Trump would win a 3 way between him Bush and Hilary.
Plus Trump is far better candidate than Perot, Jeb is less liked than GHWB and Hilary is far less liked than Bill.
Some of that, maybe all of that, might come true, or close....
Ross Perot had a several decade-long track record as an activist and lobbyist on behalf of the issues that he ran on, i.e. promoting a balanced-budget amendment, as well as his views on trade. Trump's support for securing the borders is a mile wide and half an inch deep, since he was attacking conservatives just a few years ago as "nativists" and "racists" for speaking out against illegal immigration.
Perot was sincere and trustworthy on his issues, whether you agreed with him or not. Trump is not.
