I’d love to go hunting one day with Dr Walter Palmer.. so I can stuff & mount him for MY office wall
The London Daily Mail ^ | July 28, 2015 | Piers Morgan

Posted on 07/29/2015 4:02:09 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Dr Walter Palmer is a dentist in the human happiness business.

His website, at the River Bluff Dental clinic in Minnesota, says he ‘strives to create dazzling smiles’.

For 27 years this self-anointed kindly man has showered his patients with extraordinary care and comfort, ensuring they leave his surgery immeasurably more self-confident than when they entered.

His official photograph on the website exudes almost Saintly virtue; Palmer’s own gleaming dentures shining beatifically beneath his warm, bespectacled, twinkling eyes.

But there’s another side to Dr Palmer.

A side he alludes to right at the very end of a Q&A on the same website.

‘What are you passionate about aside from dentistry?’ reads the question.

‘I am nationally and internationally award-winning archer,’ he answers, proudly, adding that he enjoys ‘staying active and observing and photographing wildlife.’

Only he doesn’t just observe or photograph the wildlife.

The ‘awards’ that Dr Palmer, 55, likes to win are the severed heads and limbs of the world’s finest animals.

The bigger the beast the better: lions, tigers, rhinos, bison, elks, anything that looks great in his snuff trophy cabinet.

Dr Palmer tours the jungles, prairies and safari parks of the world hunting his prey.

He pays a fortune for this privilege, and he absolutely loves it.

But that enthusiasm slightly spilled over on July 6, after he paid over $50,000 for the chance to hunt and kill a lion called Cecil in Zimbabwe....

What the hell is wrong with these people?
Or is this mass outpouring of outrage just to get people’s minds off Planned Baby Parts?

I think most people know man has competed against other predators for thousands of years until extremely recently.
We would not be here had we not and the encouragement of such behavior is naturally a part of all our cultures.

Sure it is as impractical as the ceremonial sword of an officer yet I pity one who cannot see the reason for either- after consideration.

If hunters found it “fun” to kill, they could just get a job at a slaughterhouse.

Hunting is about much more than killing. If you really want to understand it, read “Meditations on Hunting” by Jose Otega Y Gasset.

Piers Morgan needs to read THE MANEATERS OF TSAVO and THE MAN EATERS OF KUMAON.

After the initial killing of the two man eating lions ( now in the Field Museum in Chicago) the rest is building and shooting animals by British citizens.

It is amazing how violent the "no guns!" people are.

Perhaps that is why they don't want anyone else to be armed, so when they snap and mob up to attack someone they will have an advantage.

What good he could have done to help people with that money and he uses it for that?

The money did the people he paid a great deal of good. And they actually earned it.

Well, none of my ancestors traveled halfway around the world so that they could pretend that they felt threatened by a "predator." When you're wondering why so many people think this kind of thing is weird, you're not getting the gratuitous part of it. To normal people, it seems gratuitous, pointless.

For some reason, this guy seems to have a need to try to trick other people into thinking that he engages in acts requiring personal courage when he's really just a pathetic fraud. How does someone get that screwed up in a dental office?

Piers Morgan wouldn’t know which end of the rifle to pick up. The hypocrisy of these lefties is so rich. He hates guns but is one of the first to pick one up when someone does something he doesn’t like.

You impute a great deal to this fellow with no evidence.

From Gilgamesh and Beowulf to The Terminator or Predator, there is plenty evidence this behavior has been bred into Man.

“.it cultivates that vigorous manliness for the lack of which in a nation, as in an individual, the possession of no other qualities can possibly atone.”

Well, you lost most of them right there. That quote, along with the comments and hysteria over this subject, points up just how incredibly effective the media and Liberal Progressives have been in emasculating, minimizing and a ..fying word I can’t use here, the human male and agrandizing animals to the same level as humankind. It only took them about forty years; an amazing feat when you consider the thousands of years that men were allowed to be men without much question.

Big game hunting has indeed been a sport for the rich and for royalty. Comments on what this man could have or should have done with the money he spent on the hunt is yet another manifestation of the Socialist induced attitude that most people under fifty just can’t help exhibiting. He’s a professional and it’s his money, end of story. Unless, of course, you belong to that self important group, hand raised by Liberal Social Media slop, who really believe that everyone’s business is some of theirs and that they are really entitled to an opinion about it.

The right to voice an opinion, free speech, free association, free enterprise and free anything in this country is dead! Just because the social media punks and thugs aren’t actually breaking windows, and throwing bombs doesn’t mean they aren’t a murdering mob. They destroy lives, families, businesses and people without ever really knowing anything about the people they’re destroying.

Some have called for the killing of this man because he killed an animal that wandered off its preserve. Meanwhile, Christians are being tortured and beheaded, little babies are being deprived of the right to breathe and live and America is dying right before our eyes. I suppose it’s easier for some to focus on an animal than to come to terms with those dreadful things. That would require something other than tapping on a keyboard or staring at a screen. But of course, others here have said that over and over again, but it’s all lost on those that have been brainwashed for fourty years or more. There’s no help for it. The only thing I see that’s going to bring any common sense or practical knowledge to this society is a catasrophe and collapse. It’s not likely to be very long in coming because the mindset of this nation is just too unreal to survive for very long.

Someday soon, people might wake up to a day when Fido and Fluffy look more like a good source of protein to keep their children alive than like “one of the family” and food much too precious to waste on an animal unless that animal works or is going to be eaten. And someday, the stronger, more muscular gender!!!!! of humanity might have to learn to be men again instead of the weak kneed, weak willed pawns and sperm donors that Liberal Progressives have convinced them they should be.

Almost done ranting. As I have said, there’s not much hope of culivating “vigorous manliness” in the present. We’ll be fortunate if Liberals don’t ban the very word.
