Members on the floor of the United States House of Representatives are discussing the future of Speaker Rep. John Boehner, and the talks must be troubling to House Leadership.
Breitbart News has learned that House Speaker John Boehner has been discouraged from holding an immediate vote on Rep. Mark Meadows'resolution to remove Boehner as Speaker of the House.
As explained to Breitbart News, House Leadership was considering tabling Meadows resolution Wednesday afternoon prior to Congress leaving for August recess, but has been discouraged from doing so.
If Meadows resolution were brought to the floor, House Members that want to remove Boehner could vote yes to do so. Those that want to keep Boehner as Speaker would vote no.

They better do the votes now before the recess to allow some time for healing. When they come back in Sept, it would really make a mess of things with all they have to get done.
That’s why I’m not anymore.
Oh. I hate Washington games. I hate Washington.
The Alcoholic in Chief will show his usual spineless weepy side
Representative Meadows deserves our support. He is doing the right thing. Here is the text of his resolution:
Whereas the Speaker of the House of Representatives for the 114th Congress has endeavored to consolidate power and centralize decision-making, bypassing the majority of the 435 Members of Congress and the people they represent;
Whereas the Speaker has, through inaction, caused the power of Congress to atrophy, thereby making Congress subservient to the Executive and Judicial branches, diminishing the voice of the American People;
Whereas the Speaker uses the power of the office to punish Members who vote according to their conscience instead of the will of the Speaker; Whereas the Speaker has intentionally provided for voice votes on consequential and controversial legislation to be taken without notice and with few Members present;
Whereas the Speaker uses the legislative calendar to create crises for the American People, in order to compel Members to vote for legislation; Whereas the Speaker does not comply with the spirit of the rules of the House of Representatives, which provide that Members shall have three days to review legislation before voting;
Whereas the Speaker continues to direct the Rules Committee to limit meaningful amendments, to limit debate on the House floor, and to subvert a straightforward legislative process;
and Whereas the House of Representatives, to function effectively in the service of all citizens of this country, requires the service of a Speaker who will endeavor to follow an orderly and inclusive process without imposing his or her will upon any Member thereof: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives is hereby declared to be vacant.
It’s clarion call that will be highlighted come 2016 when the Boehner boys have to face the voters.
Boehner and McCarthy need to go away in Cantor Fashion.
“Change your affiliation to Independent. I did. Felt good!!”
Can you still vote in the Republican primaries in your state?
“1: Get a cage
2: Put the liberal in the cage:
3: Charge admission to human beings to view the threat that nearly destroyed the planet
4: Wait a couple weeks.
Problem solved.”
As long as they aren’t fed?
I’m in !!
Why waste food on rabid animals?
Party brass should encourage resignation from leadership positions of Spray Tan Boy and McConstipated. They have been an embarrassment.
The party brass is who put them there. There are maybe 5 people in the whole org that are not actual democrat liberals. The sooner we all accept that DEMONSTRATED REALITY the sooner we fix America.
5 people out of thousands is not worth making excuses over. They can leave and we will follow them.
How about a caged barbershop quartet....
Sen. McConnell

“The Fo Ho’s “
We need someone who can put more than two sentences together. Someone who can inspire and someone who can motivate. That person is not John nor Mitch.
I can’t, here in Florida, or I would be a I too.
An I too, sorry.
It needs to start somewhere. Boehner is incapable of leading a little league team.
So right you are! I’m drowning in a sea of Democrats where I live in So. Cal., but I have donated and worked for the RNC in the past, but I really don’t care anymore. I just donated to Cruz’ campaign and will continue to support true Conservatives financially, even if I can’t vote for them often.
I guess my thought is if we could get a real president in office and had good legislative leadership, the others could be pulled along. Pressuring Boner and McDuck to resign could set that up.
On the other hand, it would not surprise me if it splits and I’m not staying if it does.
Amen!!
It's Breitbart. Don't expect them to know the difference.
It sounds like it won't come up for a vote in the short term.
