Bullying behaviors are linked to higher self-esteem, social status, and a lower rate of depression, according to a new provocative study.
Researchers at Simon Fraser University observed a group of high school students finding that bullies had the highest self esteem, greatest social status, and were less likely to be depressed, as reported by National Post.

This.
This finding is an artifact of the way bully is defined, I think.

How does it explain liberal bullies who are some of the most emo and depressing individuals I know on this planet. I guess when you gather them in large numbers the depression dissipates and they pass it on to their victims or something like that...

Ahhh yes from an Atlanta new station. There sure has been a lot of mindless chatter from that city lately from their primary occupants...

Higher self-esteem, maybe, but overall a lower sense of self-worth.

Dennis Prager always says that people with high self esteem are less moral.
He cited a study of people in prison tend to have much higher than average self esteem and even consider themselves more moral than others.

I think the article confuses self esteem with narcissism, although in today’s culture, there probably isn’t much of a difference between the two anymore.

Good MacArthur quote there. Another example of how today’s church has been corrupted.

Maybe we need to start adding “bully pits” to elementary school P.E..
Might even be able to get some little-league type fighting events that the parents can bet on.

“observed a group of high school students”
Isn’t this all we need to know about this study?
