At the ABSOLUTE minimum, these local LEAs should be INSISTING on these Federal Officials personally coming to their facility and providing written direction, WITH SIGNATURES, to that effect. If it was me as a sheriff, I’d have those Fed m’effers processed just like a perp before I let one of these little Mexican criminals get away.

Calls should go to Kasich's office. Saying it's the job of the federal government isn't enough. State troopers should pick up invaders who local authorities want taken off the streets, when the border patrol can't or won't protect US citizens.

Kasich wants to show some guts? He could announce that the state of OH will take custody of such cases and throw them in jail. Kasich was just given a situation where he could be presidential.

Probably won't happen, which is a talking point that he's not gutsy enough to be President.
