Good for Boston. Reminds me of Denver when it actually won an Olympic bid but the voters said no.
I was just in Boston, and everyone was horrified at the thought of the Olympics, citing the ruined venues and wastelands of dis-used real estate all over the world from Sarajevo to Greece, to Beijing, to Russia.
It was a disaster just waiting to happen, and I’m glad it’s over.
