Kasich Advisor Compares Donald Trump to a Drunk NASCAR Driver
Daily Mail ^ | July 28, 2015 | Alex Pappas

A top adviser to Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s presidential campaign is comparing Donald Trump to a drunk NASCAR driver.

Kasich’s political strategist, John Weaver, did not specifically mention the New York businessman in his Monday tweet about the upcoming Republican presidential debate. But there’s no question who he is referring to.

“Imagine a NASCAR driver mentally preparing for a race knowing one of the drivers will be drunk,” Weaver wrote on Twitter. “That’s what prepping for this debate is like.”

Trump, who has not been shy about attacking his rivals in the Republican race, is expected to have one of the 10 podiums at the first debate next week.

But it’s still unclear whether Kasich, who announced his bid last week, will place poll well-enough to guarantee himself an invite to the stage.

Kasich won’t even be at the debate

Not sure about that. I'd think a Governor could probably find a decent comp ticket.

open to federal involvement in the states, support of Common Core, the expansion of Medicaid through the Affordable Care Act, open to Obama’s immigration plan, which would temporarily protect 5 million immigrants from deportation, would have no problem attending a gay friend’s wedding (which he did).

Trump will wipe the floor with guy, he’s is exactly what Trump has been railing against.

John Kasich’s presidential campaign is comparing Donald Trump to a drunk NASCAR driver.

Looks like he’s looking for a fight so he can increase his bad numbers....I think others are going to try likewise. Even bad press is better then none.

What the heck is wrong with these Republicans???

It’s pretty obvious Trump has tapped in to American’s anger at what is going on in Washington DC and the WHOLE cabal establishment.

Instead of trying to understand American’s anger, these stupid Republicans actually appear to be defending the corrupt status quo in DC. So much leadership fail on the Republican side of things these days. At least we have a few candidates that understand why Americans are so angry.

Nothing like painting a target on yourself.
John Kasich is about to about to have the gentle ministrations of The Donald directed his direction.

Part of the plan.

Kasich needs the name ID.

Since he is a lap ahead of the rest of the pack maybe John should drink a little of what Trump is drinking.

Pray America is waking

Well I'd vote for a drunk Nascar driver over Obama everyday of the week. Heck, I'd ride with a drunk Nascar driver before I'd get in a car with Ted Kennedy.
