Does the DMV do a background check when they give someone a License to drive a Two Ton Killing Machine on Public Roads?
Do they do background checks on people who buy Glass Bottles, Gasoline, Rags and Matches? If the guy who shot those People in the Movie Theater used Molotov Cocktails, he could have easily killed One Hundred People rather than Two.
Inglorious Bastards comes to mind.

Jindsl will not get our votes.

He also could have done it with a pint of ammonia and a pint
of bleach without alarming anyone with smoke and flames.

Why do people still doubt Human Ingenuity?
If someone wants to commit Murder, they will find a way given the Implements at their disposal.
It’s like People never watched MacGyver. LOL

That was real effective in Lafayette.

Buh bye bobby. One word-——”infringe”. Why not institute intergalactic background checks like in WA? That’ll work out real well too. So, what do we propose to do if some lazy data input public sector union puke fails to make an entry and some brain dead asshat gets a go ahead for acquisition of a firearm and then does something stupid? Just sayin’, if there's people involved, there’ll be a screw up sooner or later. My exact reaction - for the national socialist left there cannot be tough enough gun laws.
Knuckle under to them with Intergalactic Background Checks and they will soon be back looking for more, it's never enough for the leftists against the cause of liberty.

Precisely why “Natural Born” is required to be POTUS.
Jindal does not have the deep roots of America in his bones. No blood from his kin spilled to defend America.
Governor? OK.
Congress Critter? OK.
POTUS? NFW.

Here in Louisiana, unlike other places, there are NO other permits, of any kind to legally purchase a firearm, other than the NICS/FBI check.
So, from what Piyush said, the doctors that submit that stuff, are at fault.
To: Rusty0604
Iirc the most recent edition of the psychiatric “bible” say that over half of Americans suffer from some sort of mental illness.
To: Terry L Smith
Same in Nevada. FBI/NICS.

Precisely why Natural Born is required to be POTUS. While you are correct, it is now an unpopular concept even here on FR a formerly Constitution supporting website.

So true. The "conservatives" seem to be okay with shifting the definition on a whim.

dear rktman,
ah yes, nevada! Las vegas, in the late ‘70’s, selling time-shared dwellings, and giving ‘dice clocks’ for those who came and saw, and said no thanks. (kinda hard to keep on the time-sharing schedule, when you are part of a tactical airwing that just might ‘up and go’ at a moment’s notice, doncha think?) Wild Weasels forever!
To: Terry L Smith
Aces High & High Rollers I think.
