I don’t think Republicans and other moderates like Jeb know what compromise is. All I’m seeing is cowering and capitulation.

If he weren’t the guy the establishment wanted he would’ve beem cast aside a long time ago. Just like Hillary is being shoved down RATS throats, the GOPE continues to shove this loser down their voters throats. The country gags.

Way to accept the oppositions premise, Jebster.

That’s total BS, and you are just paving the way to Hillary. There’s no one who is not willing to compromise to advance their vision and goals. What we are against is total sellouts to the left. That’s what we are getting now.

I freaking hate this guy. I really do. He was a good governor, but the years since, he’s been an utter disaster.

Jeb, how do you compromise between killing babies in the womb and protecting babies in the womb?

I personally am waiting for his demonstration of his one true talent of biting the head off a live chicken.

Seriously, I want to know - badly - who here at Free Republic thinks he’s their guy? Will actually vote for him?

Jeb’s compromise smells a lot like McConnell’s and Boehner’s, i.e., the left gets what it wants and we get to swallow it.

He agrees with Nancy Pelosi on next to nothing, but “give me an hour, and I bet I could” find something they agree on.

No. That’s what’s crazy. Jeb has spent all his time with rich millionaires at private parties and has absolutely no pulse on reality in America. Plus, he’s now no more than a puppet for the Washington consultancy class.

It is Republicans like Jeb that have compromised with the Democrats so that we are on the brink of communism, and that is utterly unacceptable. They have already gotten us to socialism.

GOP primary voters, much like the rest of the country, dislike having destructive policies foisted off on them that clear majorities oppose.

I wonder if at some point the GOPe, media, and cuckservative advisors will realize that insulting the voters and their intelligence will make them less likely to vote for their candidates.

“I have a secret weapon,” he said, pointing to his wife Columba. “I have Hispanic children, I have Hispanic grandchildren. I’m part of the community … I cannot imagine having the same kind of numbers [with Hispanic voters] that Republicans have had in past presidential elections. I think I can do better.”

Associated Press

ORLANDO, Florida — Jeb Bush implored his Republican presidential rivals Monday to reject the "crazy message of hate" that he sees at play in the campaign and cast himself as a "committed conservative," but not an "angry" one, in remarks rooted in Donald Trump's inflammatory rhetoric and the backlash that followed.

As conservatives, he said in a speech to pastors, "if we act with our heart, people will rise." Afterward, Bush gave his call for political civility a harder edge in a raucous rally where he urged other GOP contenders to quit scolding each other.

"We have to campaign with joy in our hearts - not anger," Bush said. "We shouldn't say outrageous things that turn people off to the conservative message. Our message is the one of hope and opportunity for everyone."

"We must reject this crazy message of hate."
