If you are in the second tier, you are finished. The herd will be culled by just who makes the top 10.

I agree she does very well in interviews. I have not heard very many, but what I did hear was impressive. I won’t vote for her for my own reasons. It will be interesting to hear all the candidates side by side in both the primary and secondary platforms.

Maybe but it doesn’t have to be so. It is still very early. Someone in the second tier could knock it out of the park and move to the top slot, especially since his contrasts will likely be weaker.

Highly unlikely. Fox has it in its power to eliminate 6 of them by the first debate—not that it is necessarily a bad thing. But it is a shame that some candidates will have to sit at the kid’s table. Most viewers will not watch that earlier debate.

Quite a few!

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trump-filed-bankruptcy-times/story?id=13419250

“”In 1990, the banking institutions that backed his real estate investments had to bail him out with a $65 million “rescue package” that contained new loans and credit. But it wasn’t enough, and nine months later the famous developer was nearly $4 billion in debt. He didn’t declare personal bankruptcy, although his famous Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, N.J., did have to file for it (bondholders ended up taking a 50% stake in the investment). Trump’s economic troubles continued through the early ‘90s, while he was personally leveraged to nearly $1 billion. In 2004, Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts also filed for bankruptcy. The company was only a small portion of Trump’s real estate empire, but he did still have to personally cough up $72 million to keep it afloat. In 2009, the same company (by then renamed Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.) filed for bankruptcy again. Yet during all of this, no one ever told Trump, “You’re fired!” Probably because no one could. “”

But she is a good speaker and the good speakers will inevitably rise to the top.

She is an outsider, so is Trump but she can speak in complete sentences and all on the same topic.

I have said all along that if she makes the cut she would take some of Trumps wind.

It will be interesting to see which Five National Polls that Fox chooses to use for their ranking process....

Which ever ones produce the result they want.

Maybe. I don’t know how many people have my same priorities and so her polish will not be enough. But you never know. I would much prefer Cruz and he is a good talker, too.

How much did she have to do with the things Hewlett Packard as a company supported?

So I'm wondering what company got driven into the ground?

It is not the company, it was the employees ,she downsized and we have a few former HP employee posters I am sure.

She was a top adviser to McCain for his campaign. That’s not a good thing.

She was a top adviser to McCain for his campaign.

And you think McCain took any advice from a woman? He ignored Palin for a fact.

I hope she is in the top 10, for many reasons including the optics.

Plus she’s better than Krispie Creme and a bunch of the others.

That’s true. But accepting VP is different from offering advice. As adviser you would think she actually supported him. As VP it is more him supporting her.

I won’t be voting for Carly for reasons other than just that she chose to support McCain’s candidacy. If you are voting for her then that’s your choice. I only get one vote and you only get one vote. We can’t do it either way alone.

As do I.

Never underestimate the simplistic but well delivered answers.

Carly makes well thought out completely understandable responses. Remember this one? We'll get under the hood and fix it.

When told that we can't deport the illegal criminals because their county wouldn't take them she replied. There is plenty we can do to force them to take them, start by refusing to issue or accept any Visa's from that country, they will change their mid quickly.
