A federal judge in California has ruled that hundreds of illegal immigrant women and children in U.S. holding facilities should be released, another apparent setback for President Obamas immigration policy, according to The Los Angeles Times.
U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee said Friday that the conditions in which the detainees are being held are deplorable and violate parts of an 18-year-old court settlement that put restrictions on the detention of migrant children.
The ruling also raises questions about what the administration will do with the estimated 1,700 parents and children at three detention facilities, two in Texas and one in Pennsylvania.
Last year, tens of thousands of women and unaccompanied minors from Central America arrived at the Southwest border, with many believing a rumor that unaccompanied children and single parents with at least one child would be allowed to stay.

This is precisely the reason that border jumpers need to be returned to Mexico immediately no matter where they come from.
Let Mexico deal with this disaster.
PING
Release them??
This does not sound like a setback for Obama..
Do as the judge says...release them. But release them in Guatemala.
Or release them in the judge’s neighborhood.
They have demonstrated a proven ability to make that trip.
So make it again and go the hell back where you came from.
Release them to their countries of origin.
Gee was born in Hawthorne, California, the daughter of Cantonese immigrants from rural China. Gee's father was a World War II veteran who later worked as an aerospace engineer on projects like the space shuttle and the Apollo missions, while her mother was a garment worker. Gee earned a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1981 and a law degree from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1984. From 1984 until 1986, Gee served as a law clerk for Judge Milton Schwartz of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
According to Judge Napolitano (FOX News), the judge is releasing them to out of the country, South of the border. They cannot be released into the US.
Obama administration will appeal, which will take about until Obama is out of office.
Now demand that Iran release Pastor Abedini from jail before you hand over the $100B in funding that gets us nuked.
Golly Gee, Who the heck names their kid Dolly Gee?
With a name like that, no wonder she is a loon.
On CNN this morning, a guest said that the mothers and children would be released south of the border and they would have to go home. That was the first time that was reported. It would be a big set back for Obama from a judge he appointed, so that would be a shock.
I bet that our next president can cut a deal with either Guatemala or Belize to let us ship all Mexican illegal aliens there, where they can walk back across the Southern border of Mexico.
Those 4-star hotels just are deplorable. /s
Obamas HHS paid one organization over $280 million to house illegal alien children in 2014
The Department of Health and Human Services dished out over $182 million to one organization in order to house unaccompanied illegal alien children over the span of four months, according to documents released on December 3. The taxpayer funds ended up covering the likes of free laptops, big screen TVs, and pregnancy tests. In 2014 alone, the group was awarded well over $280 million in federal grant money and surpasses $460 million when factoring in 2013. This is just one group in a sprawling network of those sheltering illegal alien children.
The December 3 documents, obtained by Judicial Watch, show BCFS, formerly known as Baptist Children and Family Services, was paid $182,129,786 in order to provide basic shelter care for 2,400 unaccompanied alien children (UAC) during a four month span. The budget included charges of $104,215,608 for the 1,200 UACs at a Fort Sill, Oklahoma center and another $77,914,178 for the 1,200 UACs at the Lackland Air Force Base shelter located in San Antonio, Texas. From June 12 to October 18, these figures equate to $86,846.34 for every illegal alien child housed at Ft. Sill and $64,928 per illegal alien child from May 18 to September 18 at the Lackland Air Force Base location. On top of this, $2,648,800 was given as compensation to members of the BCFS Incident Management Team or $88,293 per person.
Other expenses at the Ft. Sill facility included hotel accommodations running a tab of $6,765,000, food costs of $75 per day for 3 meals and 2 snacks for each illegal alien child provided by a local catering service totaling $18,198,000, and $1,120,400 worth of medical supplies. Additionally, board games, soccer balls, basketballs, jump ropes, bracelet making kits, yarn, puzzles, arts and crafts, decks of cards, and eye-hand coordination game sets were provided at the cost of $180,000. Educational items including tempera paint, paint markers, paint brushes, easel brushes, art paper and multicultural crayons were $180,000. The children were also provided laptops for $200,000 and cell phones costing $160,000.
At the Lackland Air Force Base facility, utility expenses included cable television with a video screen/projector set up so the children could view the likes of sports and movies for $20,000. Also set aside was $576,000 to allow them to call their families twice a week and $80,000 for shower stalls.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said its outrageous the Obama administration would provide illegal alien children with such luxurious items that many Americans could not even purchase.
It is outrageous that the Obama administration spent nearly $200 million of taxpayer funds to provide illegal alien children with the types of extravagant high-tech equipment and lavish benefits many American families cannot even afford for their own children, Fitton said.
And very few American workers are bringing home the $80,000 the Obama administration pays the BCFSs Incident Management Team for just four months work. Obamas lawlessness resulted in an illegal alien surge that has cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars in 2014. Based on his new lawless amnesty plans, we can expect hundreds of millions more in taxpayer costs for the resulting wave of illegal aliens trying to take advantage of Obamas illegal nullification of our nations immigration laws, he concluded.
In fiscal year 2014, the BCFS has been awarded $288,801,735, according to the Tracking Accountability in Government Grant Systems. Including FY 2013, theyve been given an astounding $466,360,582.
Obamas visit with the CEO of BCFS
On July 9, 2014 President Obama landed in Dallas to meet with Texas leaders including Governor Rick Perry and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings to discuss the rapid influx of illegal alien children across the border. Later that same day, he would head to Austin to attend a DNC fundraiser at the home of filmmaker Robert Rodriguez with the likes of Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Demi Lovato and Danny Trejo.
In the late afternoon of July 9, Air Force One touched down at Love Field in Dallas. President Barack Obama ducked into a private room at the airport for a discussion about the crisis of undocumented children crossing the southwest border. Assembled around a wooden table were top Texas officials, including Governor Rick Perry and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, as well as the leaders of several faith-based charities. One of them was a man so anonymous, the White House pool report misspelled his name, TIME wrote of the meeting.
The anonymous man TIME spoke of was Kevin Dinnin, CEO of BCFS the group given over $460 million in awards to house the unaccompanied alien children since the beginning of FY 2013. Just two days before Obamas visit, on July 7, another grant was bestowed upon BCFS in the amount of $190,707,50.
Housing UACs proves to be a lucrative business for Dinnin, as hes pulled in $450,000 in compensation in 2012 with four others making at least $200,000.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a letter to HHS Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell on July 17 pressing for answers on housing these unaccompanied minors and requesting information on BCFS.
On July 8, 2014, President Obama requested $3.7 billion to address the increase in unaccompanied minors and illegal immigration on the Southwest Border. As Congress considers this request, it is critical to ensure that these funds, if appropriated, would be spent wisely, Grassley wrote. Recent news reports regarding the awarding of a $50 million contract to Texas-based non-profit BCFS, and your statement to Senators yesterday that housing a minor costs between $250 to $1,000 a day, raises serious questions about whether taxpayer dollars are being used wisely.
After public backlash, the $50 million bid for the illegal alien childrens spa Grassley spoke of was revoked.
He continued in his letter to HHS, On July 14, 2014, KRGV-TV reported that BCFS received a $50 million contract to turn the Palm Aire Hotel and Suites into a 600 bed center for unaccompanied minors. This facility would replace a 300 bed center BCFS that already operates in Harlingen, Texas. Currently, the Palm Aire, which refers to itself as the Rio Grande Valleys leading destination resort, is open to hotel guests and boasts racquetball, an Olympic size pool, fitness center, steam room, sauna, and Jacuzzis. Given the potential size of BCFS contract, it appears that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is willing to pay at least $83,000 per bed. However as BCFS is eliminating the 300 beds available in Harlingen, the true cost to the taxpayer may be over $166,000 per bed, or $13,889 per month per child.
DEPORT
You have to admit that is really funny.
“”he called””
The judge’s first name is Dolly - but then again, this is a CA judge we’re talking about, isn’t it? So take your pick - it could be any of a number of other “things” besides a female! And don’t worry - room has to be made for the next tens of thousands of what? - unaccompanied children? Yep - that’s it!
(If you think this sudden flood of illegal immigrant children is spontaneous, think again.)
