Kicking off an afternoon swing through Central Florida, Jeb Bush told a group of pastors that Christian businesses should not be compelled to participate in gay weddings and that he supports statehood for Puerto Rico and legal status but not citizenship for millions of immigrants who are now in the U.S. illegally.
On immigration reform, Bush said, We need to have a path to legal status for the 11 million people here
What else would you do?
He added: The idea of self-deportation or the idea of rounding people up is not an American value.
Bush said legal status should be earned after 10 years and come after paying a fine and taxes. He said he supports this approach rather than full citizenship because I think thats where we land to get it done.

The idea of self-deportation or the idea of rounding people up is not an American value. The idea of rolling over and playing dead in the face of invasion didn't used to be an American value, either.

he supports statehood for Puerto Rico It seems that anything and everything that comes out of the ¡yeb! pie hole reeks of ending the GOP and/or the USA.

When these people enter America illegally, their first act upon stepping on our soil is to break the country’s laws. That is not an American value either.

I guess that's the problem, Jeb. You've never considered any other remedy.

Sorry, Jeb, but moving into the USA uninvited is not one of our “American values.” Controlling our borders is as American as apple pie.
To: jimbo123
Trump said things between himself and the RNC/GOP were better in the last few days and Jeb's comment is consistent with that.
Jeb's comment was actually petty mild (he said only that Trump hadn't offered any specifics as to what to do with the 11 million illegals already in the country).

Most of them don’t want to be American citizens.
Has anyone ever asked them?

Saying “What else would you do? is throwing our hands up in the air and admitting that we are helpless in the face of invasion. The invaders, not the American people, get to decide who comes here. We have no choice in the matter but to bow down to them and give them citizenship.
BS!
And since when is it “American values” to reward people for breaking the law?
Please, please, God...have mercy on us and don’t let this racist, anti-American man become our next President.

Bush has to campaign in his OWN STATE ? That my friends is the Alamo.
Notice that bush doesn't say anything on shutting down the border.
No one wants the debt ridden Puerto Rico as a state EVER!!
I say cut ‘em loose.
From Wiki:”Puerto Rico received more than $6.5 billion annually in federal aid from the United States.[1] A substantial portion of this amount is earmarked for public welfare, including funding educational programs (such as Head Start), subsidized housing programs (such as (Section 8 and public housing projects), and a food stamp system called the Nutrition Assistance for Puerto Rico program.”
No way!!
Bush needs to go through the Communist Core high school American history curriculum and find where it says who we fought in WWI and WWII, who won those wars and which part of American society fought and died by ethnicity, religion and sex as a percent of the whole. It is not in there!!
