McConnell and Boehner could both drop dead today and nothing would change. They were elected by a vast majority of the GOP members of Congress who are also brought, blackmailed or blind. The next dupes in line would just advance up one slot. You have 200 problems in Congress, not 2.
That’s a good point: the American people have created a monstrous situation over so many decades now.
