I blame Hollywood and the entertainment industry for glorifying drug use

Hollywood glorifies a lot of things and if it had that kind of influence, we would all be druggies, don't you think? It's a personal choice.

Her mother and other family members tried to get her in rehab many times

But she said, "No! No! No!"

Nobody was closer to Whitney than her mama. She begged her not to marry Bobby Brown. She never liked him or the drugs. She did all she could to get Whitney to get her life straight. But, she liked her lifestyle. If her mama couldn’t get her to break away from Bobby Brown and the drugs, Kevin Costner sure as heck would not have been able to do so. Anybody who tried to talk sense into Whitney, she, more or less, told them to go to hell. She lived by the sword (of drug addiction) and she died by the sword. Her choice. She was my favorite Pop Singer since the late ‘80s, but, no sympathy here.

I’ll not lose any sleep or shed any tears. But, it’s a good life lesson: Choose a tragic life-style, reap a tragic end. All her fortune her mama left her, she won’t be taking it with her. No sympathy here; for her or her Coke-head mama.

I agree, no sympathy. I have a meth addicted brother, if he is still alive. He put my parents through hell, stealing from them and he physically abused my Father two weeks before he died because Dad didn’t know where Mom kept their change jar. My Dad, always a proud man, who had dementia and was dying the slow death of CPD. My brother wanted the money that day.

Drug addicts tear their families to smithereens and they don’t care.

I grew up hating my brother and will always hate him for what he did to my parents.

Drug addicts are selfish, self-centered manipulators.

I am thinking the same thing about the drug menace in the entertainment industry. The illegal drug industry suffocates the millionaire entertainers to milk them for as much money their addiction can provide. They are surrounded by groupies whose only intentions is to get wealthy through their drug sales. Once hooked these entertainers do not have a chance.

How many other crack babies died today, and no one tweeted about them?

This one was born with every opportunity.

Yes, but people support their filth and lifestyle by purchasing the mess they are peddling. They offer Disney, MTV, etc to their kids too. No wonder our young people are so messed up.

Her family will milk her death for all its worth.

I feel badly for her. She was so young. RIP Bobbi Kristina.

How do you know who may have tried to help her? It isn’t like they would have done so publicly.

Addicts ultimately have to want to quit. She was an addict before Bobby Brown darkened her doorstep and continued long after her divorce from him.

If anything, it shows that all the talent, money, and love from family and friends in the world can’t help unless the addict wants the help they can offer.

Prayers for the souls of mother and daughter.

Too bad Bobby Brown wasn’t in the first bathtub so Whitney could still be singing. Brown destroyed both ip of them.

Well, like others on here have pointed out so accurately: Whitney was on drugs before she ever met the scumbag Bobby Brown. And, she stayed on drugs after they split. Whitney destroyed Whitney. And, it was Whitney AND Bobby who destroyed the kid.

To: Din Maker; All

If every heroin addict, crackhead and meth head in America, all dropped dead today, that would be fine with me. Talk about clearing the air and cleaning the landscape..... Dope fiends are selfish, self-centered and manipulative. They don’t care whose lives they hurt or destroy. Let ‘em all drown in the freakin’ bathtub. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
