OSKALOOSA, IowaDonald Trump said there was no cap in the amount of money he would be willing to put into his campaign for the Republican nomination for president if his message continues to resonate with voters.
Speaking at a free-wheeling press conference following a rally in this city east of Des Moines, Mr. Trump also attacked Republican rivals Jeb Bush and Scott Walker and Democrat Hillary Clinton with accusations that they were beholden to wealthy donors.
Mr. Trump, a real-estate developer and television personality, has almost entirely self-financed his campaign so far.
Bush is controlled by those people. Walker is controlled by those people. Hillary Clinton is controlled by those people. Trump has none of those people, he said Saturday afternoon. Im not controlled. I do whats right for the people.
Mr. Trump was particularly pointed in his attacks of Mr. Walker. He criticized the Wisconsin governors handling of his states economy and accused him of flip-flopping his stance on the Common Core education standards.
I said hey now, the gloves are off, said Mr. Trump, who called the fundraiser a stupid person.
A spokeswoman for Mr. Walkers campaign didnt immediately respond to a request for comment.
Mr. Trump spoke before more than 1,000 people who gathered for a family picnic and speech that his campaign sponsored. Attendees filled the auditorium of the citys high school and spilled into a space in the neighboring middle school, with 1,300 people registering to attend, a campaign official said.

You mean if Fiorina were put on the GOP ballot they’d stand to lose CA’s electoral votes? Seriously? Say it ain’t so!
They’d lose votes for wherever people gave a r@t’s @$$ about great American institutions like HP being destroyed.
That’s a great point that I didn’t see. The others hold fundraising dinners, and Trump pays for his supporters to have a free picnic lunch. Pure genius!
Cruz should be the VP.
The Rats would be scared and Cruz would help Trump carry Texas along with the rest of the South and Midwest.
Trump should ask same of Hilary
Thanks for the clarification.
How do you think Walker should react
If it had been me and not Walker, I'd have done some tweets that more or less said, “The Donald has $10b. How much of a dumb dumb could he be?”
A second tweet like this, “Not interested in Trump's IQ. Focused on solving USA’s problems.”
Then maybe a few tweets about Walker proposed policies.
By using twitter, it brings the topic down to a lower level of importance. It's a gentle refutation, not a rebuke. And then says, this isn't the important subject, let's get the important stuff.

Yeah. Something along those lines.
How did Walker respond? I assume not like Rick Perry, who has gone nuts.
I think he more or less ignored it. Second best response.
May be the best, actually.
