Hillary Clinton Operatives Bracing For “Clinton Collapse”
DC Whispers ^ | July 24, 2015

Posted on 07/26/2015 5:37:18 AM PDT by Zakeet

Earlier, D.C. Whispers reported on federal investigators’ request to initiate a full on CRIMINAL investigation into the Hillary Clinton email scandal due, at least in part, to Mrs. Clinton’s alleged and purposeful destruction of classified material she kept on a private email server. Apparently this development is but one of several now plaguing a Hillary Clinton campaign that has a candidate who often appears “lost, confused, tired, and angry.”

The term “Clinton Collapse” is apparently an increasingly common one these days for those whose job it is to continue insulating their candidate from media scrutiny and try and push Mrs. Clinton across the eventual finish line that is the Democratic Party nomination – no easy task given Clinton herself appears increasingly unstable, politically speaking.

…This past week saw campaign operatives trying to figure out how to break the news to candidate Clinton regarding her sudden drop in several battleground states that show her losing by wide margins to potential rivals like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Scott Walker. When that news was finally delivered, Hillary Clinton is said to have initially brushed it off.

Mere hours later she proceeded to lash out her handlers, and then went on to blame what she perceives to be “unfair media coverage.”

[Snip]

A D.C. Whispers source had this to say regarding Mrs. Clinton’s view of the modern media:

“She doesn’t understand how it works. She still thinks the New York Times is the end-all, be-all regarding media coverage and because they (the Clinton Machine) pretty much control how the Times covers them, she feels she controls her own media destiny and when that doesn’t happen, it infuriates her. She gets very angry very quickly and it’s a particularly aggressive kind of nasty on her part.”

Candidate Clinton’s mood swings have become so erratic even those closest to her campaign are said to be hoping for the best while preparing for what some perceive to be the inevitable worst.

“They know this entire campaign could collapse in a matter of days. Hillary Clinton is not her husband. She’s someone who doesn’t enjoy the work of a long political campaign. She doesn’t trust the process. Actually it goes beyond that – she hates the process. Truth be told, she hates people. Bill enjoyed pressing the flesh. Ok, not the best phrase when applied to him, but he was in his element out there in the midst of the unwashed masses. Hillary on the other hand, she gets this look in her eyes that isn’t so much about pressing the flesh, but wanting to burn it.”

The Hillary campaign is setting about trying to match the fundraising pace of Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 outings. They have publicly indicated their desire to raise at least 100 million dollars by the end of 2015. That remarkable figure is not merely about bragging rights though, but rather out of absolute necessity.

“There won’t be nearly as much free and positive press for Hillary Clinton as there was for Barack Obama. They all know that. It’s going to take a lot of money to build and maintain her image over the next several months. She’s not a low maintenance, lipstick and rouge candidate. Hillary Clinton requires major renovations that come up often and that takes serious cash to keep going. Her campaign will be on edge and in crisis mode much more often than is normal. That will be a huge burden on all those around her, and it seems is already causing Hillary to show some premature wear and tear already as well.”

I saw her on TV this morning and those large bags under her eyes tells me she may have an evening drinking problem.

Times are a-changin’.

Clinton’s supporters are growing older too, and there’s a whole generation that never saw Bill as President, all they’ve seen of Hillary is scandals, lies, and evasiveness, none of those glorious WH years. And now they’re hearing her boring, monotone speeches that lecture them about whatever PC topic is the flavor-of-the-day.

IOW, people are seeing the real Hillary - and are not impressed at all.

A candidate that inherently repels voters is a real problem in politics. Go Bernie!!

Hang the phone up again and turn on the fax machine.

It’s always entertaining to watch pro-abortion staffers and supporters making the inevitable discovery that their pro-abortion candidate is a nasty, violent, angry, dishonest, narcissistic monster.

I wonder if they’ll do what the Japanese did with The Last Emperor, which is make her think she’s still running, but in reality, she’s no longer in the race.

They can do this by having fake TV appearance after fake TV appearance, and then by telling her that security is such a big concern that she has to give campaign speeches in front of a big TV screen with adoring fans (rather than a live crowd). By the time she realizes that the “live crowds” she keeps giving speeches to in cities around the country are re-runs, the election would be over, and then she can be safely sent to the happy house without embarrassing the rest of the Democrat Party.

The base will love her no matter what and will crawl over broken glass to vote for her

I think you are quite wrong about that.

One of the most telling facts about what passes for politics in the US today is the consensus that the two inevitable candidates (Bush - Clinton) are the two that nobody wants. I mean, nobody.

The power structure has gotten so weak that only an election between two losers can preserve their power.

On a side note, I work across the street from that building. It was an 'art project'. The building houses an art league, and that was what they did with their building before tearing the down the whole structure and building a new one. They called it 'The Inversion'. People were always getting out of their cars to take pictures of it.

Part of the new building has a coffee shop called The Inversion Coffee House. They have a scrim of that picture on one of their windows.

Your pictures don’t include Jim Webb. If the dems have to face Trump, Webb might be the most presidential choice they have.

The liberal media does it's utmost to protect and promote her. A recent 5,500 word piece on her in the New York Times did not even once dare to mention Benghazi.

That is the same New York Times that put Abu Ghraib on the front page nearly 50 times (37 days in a row at one point) and mentioned Bush every time. (Benghazi was on the front page once.) Nobody died at Abu Ghraib.

This really sums it up. Back in 2008, Clinton was telling supporters to send postcards to their friends telling them about her. Postcards.

Also, a lot of young people were during the 1990s and they're going to do a lot of Googling before they decide to support Hillary. They're going to read all the crap that happened then.

Unfortunately, there are lots of intelligent, well-qualified communists whom the Democrats could nominate and who could be elected more or less easily.

Hillary is a sideshow - the longer it goes on before the inevitable collapse or arrest, the better.
