... there nevertheless isn’t a single serious Democrat with a name we know willing to run against her.

You are right, but this may reflect a dearth of talent in the weak democrat bench. Think, what democrat with name recognition would you consider as being a "serious" alternative?

The elections of 2010 and 2014 have wiped out virtually an entire generation of what would have been the up and coming democrats of the future. They never made it past the statehouses' and governors' races.

Squaw Warren could trounce Hillary and win the general if the Chicago Mob supported her.

Of course they’d have to hire David Plouffe back from Uber, LOL.

You are right. Sixteen years of toadying to the Clintons and Obamas and Soros has left the rest of the bench atrophied, timid, afraid to do anything that would look like disloyalty, afraid of anything that will draw negative attention from the Sorosian crazies.

They have governors who at least in theory should have some proven competence, but none who would dare to buck Soros, Clinton, Obama, and Occupy simultaneously. So all they are left with are Hillary, and a couple of wingnuts (Bernie and Liz Warren).
