Wow, quite a difference the seven, eight, or nine years make. Back then, the African Star newspaper was hailing presidential candidate and Senator Obama as a native of Kenya and one of them. Now there seems to be a lot of antagonism against Obama in Kenya about the "gay marriage" issue, and rightfully so.

Still wondering whether some news outlet - African, American, or other - will reiterate the "native son" designation (either intentionally or by slip-up) in connection with this visit to Kenya. If anyone sees or hears anything of that sort, please let us know.
