Obama’s such a liar his dog (’BO’: megalomaniacally named after himself) won’t come when he calls. Dead fish will come back to life when wrapped in the Telegraph, and thrust themselves from it to escape the stench. If a vote were taken today by their hosts, the UN would be packing its bags.

Anyways, the murder and overall crime rate is actually somewhat lower now than it was in the 60s. The worst years were the eighties when it was double what it is now. And back in the turn of the last century, when I don’t think there were any gun laws, it was miniscule.

Here is an interesting statistic they never want to talk about: the last time the FBI published a number [I believed they stopped in 2005 because the result was too embarrassing] more than half of all homicides committed in the US are committed by a person with a prior homicide arrest, conviction, or accessory to homicide conviction. If we're just going to put killers back on the streets, why shouldn't the rest of us be armed?
Well, that would be advisable for so many reasons, and the homicide rate is probably the least of them. Unfortunately, unless the white women in question were exclusively my wife and daughters, the homicide rate in this home for white males would be 100%.

Where is the data for “Other Means of Murder”, which starkly contrast against “Gun Murder” stats?
And what would this look like if you removed black-on-black gun violence in areas where only illegal guns are allowed? Bet the picture would look very much different.

When I strap on my CCW holster and gun it is no more my thought that I'm going to use it this day than when I get in my car and think I'm going to run over someone today. Or when I buy car, health or home insurance do I think "can't wait to use these babies". I think liberals see us as ticking time bombs because they see it in themselves. They have no self reliance and expect society to take care of them. I look at the cities where liberals are in charge and think "I need a gun". They have made criminality an accepted fact of life. They are responsible for the majority of violent crime.
I have no desire to ever use my guns on anything but targets and game, but I go forward with the knowledge that in defense of self, family, friends and others I'm at least prepared to not be a victim.

People kill other people with whatever they have. Comparing gun violence rates in the US (where people have guns) to the violent crime rate in England (where people don’t have guns but have knives, clubs, and fists) would be the appropriate comparison.
Exactly. I am completely serious. If blacks could not own weapons—and the law was enforced strictly with deterrent-inducingly harsh penalties—you'd see a drop of over 70% almost immediately.
Minimum of 20 years hard time with no chance of parole if caught with an illegal weapon, and this crap would change FAST. It's our pussyfooting and engendering of this kid-glove handout mentality that has enabled the currently misplaced sense of entitlement so universally shared within the shiftless, murderous black thug mentality innoculating America's "teens."
