Crowded Field of Dreams".......[BIG SNIP]........ before [Trump's] recent conversion, the views he expressed over the years would make him a mainstream Democrat. This is the great irony of the current moment in American political life: The man leading the primary of a party whose recent success owes largely to a shift rightward has never really been a Republican.
Trump described himself as very liberal on health care and was an advocate of a single-payer health insurance system, a view that puts him to the left of Barack Obama. He long considered himself very pro-choice and was in favor of drug legalization. Trump once called Mitt Romneys self-deportation proposal crazy and maniacal. Trump said Obamas $787 billion stimulus was what we need and added, It looks like we have somebody that knows what he is doing finally in office.
As those comments suggest, Trump didnt think George W. Bush did a very good job in office. But he didnt stop there. Trump said Bush was evil.
Trumps financial support for Democrats over the years has been well documented, with checks to Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, and others. Thats no surprise, since he said in 2004, I identify more as a Democrat. He praised Nancy Pelosi as the best when she became speaker of the House in 2007. That same year, he said of a prospective Hillary Clinton in the White House: I think Hillary would do a good job.
To put it mildly, Trump is an uncomfortable fit in the Republican party. And thats why he is unlikely to be there at the end of this process.
.....Trumps political activism has its roots in the Reform party movement of the late 1990s. He flirted with a presidential bid in 1999 on the Reform party ticket. He has in recent days repeatedly declared his openness to running as an independent candidate in 2016.....

Have a look at the photos and comments ridiculing veterans in this thread. And bear in mind that the Korean War vet being ridiculed is 82 years old and in a hospice.

Care for a transcript? Did it myself. And have a look at
this--a little laugh for you.
Trump just blamed 2008 financial crisis on Republicans, said Democrats wouldnt have done thathttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFR9UZ42vtQ
Interviewer:
"You have said in that past, that you probably identify more as a Democrat, and you've said that in your view, the economy does better under the Democrats...Why, then, are you running as a Republican?"
Donald Trump [Excerpts]:
"
When the economy crashed so horribly under George Bush, because of mistakes they made having to do with banking and lots of other things,
I don't think the Democrats would have done that...and that was a Republican thing, now would a Democrat have done those same things, possibly, but, ah, ee, ay, an I,...I have seen things done by Republicans that are not good, and not smart.
And I wouldn't do that."

I like Cruz, Walker and Trump.
No need for those three to get into personal fights.

To put it mildly, Trump is an uncomfortable fit in the Republican party. And thats why he is unlikely to be there at the end of this process.Six months from now people will vote in the early states. Right now a declared Republican candidate has Americans in large numbers cheering for him.
If Cruz is on my ballot next June he gets my vote.
Today Trump is setting the agenda in a way nobody else seems able to. Trump is making tactical gains for our side every day. Until it is voting day, tell everybody Trump is The One.
Vote your conscience next year.

The title General Council is assigned by the State Department to those officials who are to act as a representative of the US like a Ambassador to areas which are in territories (Bermuda) of another country (the UK) that have sizeable American commercial interests. BTW Alexander Hamilton was I believe born there.
As far as Trump is concerned there is much talk about excluding him from any debate. Big Mistake if Walker agrees to this because if anything it would appear shares “the cartel’s” fear of the conservative base.

Mr. Trump is doing a fine job of that, and he has plenty of union/socialist heritage help to do it.

Beware of Trump. He donated money to Hillary Clinton and backed many of her policy positions. He also was once for amnesty.
However, I do oppose any moves by the RNC to exclude Trump, Cruz, or Walker from any debates.
