The cool and calm of this 82 year old woman actually worked against her in this case. Refusing medical care and being able to get home on her own was probably why her call was downgraded. She should have told them she had a gun and had the perpetrator in her sights. They would have been out in a heartbeat.

It could have been worse. At least they came.
I wonder how many traffic tickets were issued in that time.
