My previous tagline for several years was, “You will never come to know that which you do not know until you first know that you do not know it”.
If you do not believe in mind control, you are deceived. The thing about being deceived is that a person who is deceived is not aware of being deceived, otherwise he or she would not be deceived.
Hypnotism is real. Mind control is real. NLP is real. They can have a very powerful influence on people. This may contradict your own perception of reality, but that does not make it untrue.
People can resist these things. But first they need the critical thinking skills to identify when someone is attempting to manipulate them.
A street hypnotist can walk up to a complete stranger and in a few moments convince him or her to hand over his or her cell phone, wallet, and house keys. The hypnotist can also plant post-hypnotic suggestions/commands to take specific actions or to experience amnesia about specific things.
Some people are more susceptible than others to such influences, so the skilled hypnotist is one who knows how to spot the ones who are susceptible at the moment.
LOL... that's the most accurate thing you said. But you could have replaced the word "hypnotist" with the word "liar" and you would have been right on target. :)
