GOP ELITES PLOT TO BAR FRONTRUNNER TRUMP FROM DEBATE
Breitbart.com ^ | 7-23-2015 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 07/23/2015 8:33:54 AM PDT by servo1969

As if we need more proof of how tone deaf and self-destructive GOP elites can be towards their most reliable voters, the New York Times reports that at a weekend meeting of the Republican Governors Association there was an attempt by some “donors and operatives” to come up with a plan to bar current Republican frontrunner Donald Trump from the presidential debates.

****************

The Republican Party has lost the popular vote in 4 of the last 5 presidential elections. The only election won was the re-election of a sitting president (Bush in ’04) during a time of war. Not only are these geniuses still in charge, these geniuses seem to believe that disenfranchising 25% of Republican primary voters (Trump’s support in the most recent national poll) through elite shenanigans is a smart strategy.

It’s been on all News Networks today that Trump will not rule out a Third Party run if he feels that he is treated unfairly by the GOP. It is “commonly believed” that if he runs as a Third Party Candidate, it will hand the keys to the White House to Hillary; Rush even said that a few days ago. Well, not so, this is NOT 1992. The world is different today; much, much, much different. We have a Marxist Muslim in the White House who is destroying this nation and spitting in the face of Patriots who hold dear, The Constitution of the United States. Both political parties, and their leaders, are despised by the majority of Americans because they too have lied to us, deceived us and consider us the peasants on their political manor. So, guess what.........

The sleeping giant of American politics, who make up 73 percent of the votes cast in every election, the white, hard-working, moral Conservatives..... that sleeping giant is waking up and it’s going to be hell to pay. If it comes down to a race between Hillary, Jeb and Donald..... DONALD CAN WIN!!! FUGOPe.

The only problem is that no network would air the alternate debate.

Time to burn up the telephone lines, zip our wallets, and no campaign volunteers to work on any campaign but Trumps.

That's the thing...I think Cruz wanted to activate all those voters whose participation is limited to evaluating the candidates, and voting. Hence his desire to rebuild the "Reagan coalition."

I think Trump actually figured out how to DO it.

New York would most likely go to Trump.

Finally, I would say California would be a toss up between Trump and Hillary.

New York? California?........ Are you just kidding or do we need to lay down the crack pipe?

Okay. I gave you room and you took it. I’m not here to trash Trump. I AM here to completely trash RINOs, GOPe and Jeb Bush. THEY are my enemy.

You can have problems with Trump and that’s okay. I don’t mind. He’s not my candidate anyway. I just like the apoplectic fits he’s giving DEMS and ‘peaser RINOs.

I think your eyeballs are crossed?

I said Ted Cruz if on a Ticket with Trump would easily carry Texas and the rest of the South.

Trump is against the current rigid trade known as NAFTA, GATT and the up coming TPP.

Hillary is for the rigged trade. She will lose a good chunk of the Union members. Besides she is despised and hated even in her own party?

Trump has an edge on Hillary.

I see Cruz as a VP. He like the rest of the GOP field, minus Trump, lack charisma.

Nobody wants a politically correct milk toast candidate. That’s pretty much the entire GOP field. Weakness.... It’s why the Leftist are taking over.

That's okay, we can stream the debate over the Internet. Then archive it on YouTube for those who missed it live.

The conventional media gatekeepers can be bypassed. Most people these days have broadband Internet.

“I think Cruz is a talented guy as a lawyer but I don’t see him as a president”

Ok, interesting, if Cruz isn’t, so who exactly in the race DO you see as presidential?

I think Trump has a real blind spot with the ladies. He’s praised both Hillary and Oprah, both of whom have seriously trainwrecky resentment issues of the sort that creates SJW’s who will smile sweetly as they stab him in the back.

Isn’t Carly a globalist?

Condi Rice has no appetite for standard politics where you get thrown under the bus at the drop of a hat, but Trump isn’t your standard politician.

You didn’t say the South, you said the Midwest, neither of which I see going for Hillary against Trump. Besides, Cruz stands at 4%, he would lose votes!

I mean what, ‘oh boy, he has NO charisma! Quick! Let’s add him to my ticket!’

?

Nashua Telegraph Presidential Forum, Nashua, NH. February 23,1980.

Moderator: "Would the sound man please turn Mr. Reagan’s mic off for the moment? Ronald Reagan Pesidential Candidate, "Is this on? Mr. Green…If you ask me… I am paying for this microphone, Mr. Green!

Background. The editor for the Nashua Telegraph tried to set the rules for the debate (initially, the newspaper was funding the debate, but then withdrew their financial support). The newspaper wanted the debate to be ONLY Reagan & Bush; the other four candidates (Anderson, Baker, Dole, & Crane) were not invited. Reagan PAID out of his own pocket for the debate to go on and called the four other candidates up on the stage. When the editor wouldn't allow the others to participate in the debate, saying they could give a comment afterwards, Reagan & the other candidates walked off the stage. George H.W. Bush ended up losing the Republican nomination to Ronald Reagan. The rest is history.

See post 110...., second line.

I will even copy and paste it for you below,

“I said Ted Cruz if on a Ticket with Trump would easily carry Texas and the rest of the South.”

All I have read is why Trump is no good. Instead of why your candidate is better?

Why are you so scared to mention your candidate?

Are you a Bushbot???? It’s okay you can come out of the closet.
