Donald Trump says the chances that he will launch a third-party White House run will absolutely increase if the Republican National Committee is unfair to him during the 2016 primary season.
The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy, the business mogul told The Hill in a 40-minute interview from his Manhattan office at Trump Tower on Wednesday. The RNC has been, I think, very foolish.
Pressed on whether he would run as a third-party candidate if he fails to clinch the GOP nomination, Trump said that so many people want me to, if I dont win.

Even if he makes it to the nominating convention, his chances of being the republican candidate are slim to none, I think.
Running 3rd party will almost guarantee that the democrat will win.
As well he should, in my opinion.
Few, if any, agree with me, but the thing to do is Trump and Cruz go Independent and form an alliance that will take the country by storm.
Those two are in a unique position to make things happen. Things that us Constitutionally-minded, America loving patriots yearn for.
Go for it Donald and Ted. Cut loose. Tens of millions of us will back you all the way.
Robert Graham stopped payment on the Maricopa County RNC office according to several GOP blogs.
They’re getting ugly.
I’m on a mobile device so I can’t provide a link.
Only four states — Connecticut, Iowa, New York and Vermont — don’t have some form of “sore loser” law in place.
Of course, The Donald will view those laws as a personal affront to him.
There will be plenty of blame to go around, Trump included.
MCRNC office rent check...
There's no "almost" to it.
The Bushies are butt-hurt and asking the RNC to rescue their designated loser.
Trump may want to review 3rd party requirements to run for President. I believe if he
runs as a GOP primary candidate and loses he’s pretty much eliminated from a 3rd party
run. There are some laws/rules on that type situation. Something about sore loser laws.
Had Perot not been paranoid--remember he was surging in the polls before he pulled out--and then reentered, but with no where near the support before the paranoid event, ending up with only 19% of the vote;--he could have really rattled the dentures of the major parties.
The other problem that Perot had--which Trump would not have had--is that he could not speak extemporaneously on television, but looked totally spaced out, reading off a teleprompter behind the camera. I have personally used TV for half hour speeches in a campaign and can attest the effectiveness, if one can extemporize.
The reason to keep the Third Party option viable, is the changing demographics, that the Left is counting on to make Conservatives a permanent minority. A strong and articulate candidate, who lets the mindless acceptors of Leftist premises split their vote between the Democrats and the sort of "Republicans," who prattle their own version of the same acceptance of Socialist values, just might pull it off.
No! I am not suggesting that that is the ideal approach at this point. But a strategy on that order, might prove our last resort, if we cannot recapture the Republican Party next year. (And keep in mind that even if we do, a Cruz nomination might well provoke a Corporate CEO 2016 version of Republicans for Johnson, such as the Rockefeller branch of the Party hit Barry Goldwater with in 1964.)
The problem is complex. So we have to keep all options open.
Plus, another historical note. Teddy Roosevelt's Bull Moose Third Party, which actually outpolled the Republican Party in 1912, lost to Wilson==but the mere threat of a revival by Hiram Johnson or William Borah was the whip that kept Henry Cabot Lodge from cutting off the debate that the irreconcilables finally won to defeat Wilson's League of Nations; leading to the overwhelming landslide of 1920.

AZ GOP’s Robert Graham’s Spiteful Retribution
Well, you got the Trump being a clown part right.
As to the “someone starting a third party” thing, there are approximately 50 3rd parties right this very moment. What’s stopping you from joining one? Wasn’t the Constitutional Party all the rage here leading into 2012? People thought Virgil Goode was a great standard bearer and look what happened? The laughable Green party got like 3 or 4 times the votes.
The 3rd party thing is NOT going to happen in any serious way. What “the Donald” is really suggesting is he may run third party and sucker some conservatives into voting for him (like Perot did) in order to hand the White House to Hillary. On some days it almost looks like that is his motive behind the whole thing anyway.
Unfortunately, this threat won’t work. This is because the Republican National Committee would rather a Democrat win than a Republican they hadn’t groomed.
The RNC has long realized that there are only two political factions in the US they can tolerate: their own, multinational corporate internationalists; and socialist internationalists.
They cannot and will not tolerate true conservatives, American nationalist-patriots, constitutionalists, and those that want to see America as the dominant superpower in the world without dependance on other nations for its power, prosperity and self-determination.
Donald Trump makes them miserable, because they cannot just choose the candidate they want, and surround him with empty suit candidates to dissipate the real challengers to “their boy”.
Brash and populist, Trump brings up issues that they do not want discussed, because they have no answers for them acceptable to the rank and file. And when “their boy” and the empty suits feel compelled to say what they think about those issues, they are seen as what they truly are: naked and weak, with bad and unpopular ideas.
But while you bring it up, it takes a lot of guts to set up a casino in a town with a large mob influence.
Trump's a lot of things, but he's not a chicken. And his businesses are VERY well run.
Donald Trump says the chances that he will launch a third-party White House run will absolutely increase if the Republican National Committee is unfair to him during the 2016 primary season. That's what he has to say to get the scared shitless dimwits parroting each other and the Democrats in the GOP to back off THEIR attacks.
Some of you are too stupid to understand the art of negotiation and manipulation.
And you're/they're too stupid to see through the hatred that he is responding to THEIR attacks...Not the other way around.
BTW, Ted Cruz will not be the nominee.
