Trump attacks GOP on Twitter five times as often as he attacks Dems
Washington Examiner ^ | 22 Jul 15 | Gabby Morrongiello

Donald Trump has criticized or mocked conservative candidates, politicians, and pundits nearly five times as often as liberal-leaning folks on his personal Twitter account.

A Washington Examiner analysis of the individuals Trump has mentioned on his Twitter feed — excluding mentions included in retweets or quoted tweets — found that the Republican presidential hopeful strongly prefers to launch attacks against members of his own party on social media.

On June 21, less than a week after launching his presidential bid in New York City, Trump tweeted that GOP strategist Karl Rove "spent $430 million in the [2014 campaign] cycle and didn't win one race." In a separate tweet on the same day, the billionaire businessman called the Fox News contributor and former Bush adviser a "jerk."

Since then, Trump has tweeted a total of 46 negative remarks about Rove and other GOP presidential candidates, politicians, and pundits in comparison to the 10 times he's gone after Democratic candidates, politicians and pundits during that same time frame.

You’re acting like a drama queen. Politics is a contact sport.

You’re not a businessman who has to play to win.

You’re a sniveling little weasel sitting in a basement, hopefully wearing pajamas performing “Concern troll” duties for the left wing majority of the Republican party.

Donald is right though. We all know liberals/democrats are the primary cancer that destroying this country. What some people still dont know is that the republicans(nearly all of them)are colluding with them in Washington, against the real citizens of this country. I used to call myself a republican and have blind loyalty, that was lost awhile ago. To them we are working class slaves to pay taxes and enable their political power/Paychecks and lifestyle. I’ll vote for Trump or Cruz, or maybe even Walker, if none of them are on the ticket I wont vote, as the country is probably past the point of no return anyhow. No more blind loyalty.

Everybody knows the Dems are godless communists, so what is the point of calling them out on it? I bet I am proportionally more critical of non-conservative republicans too, for the same reason. To anyone who is sane it is obvious that folks like Obama, O’Malley and Hitlery are to the left of Marx politically, devoid of reason, and working for the destruction of America. Those who can’t see it are too stupid to reason with, so what’s the purpose of pointing it out— it’s like teaching a pig to sing; it makes you frustrated and it annoys the pig.

I guess you don’t have a clue how politics work. Your post reinforces that. Trump is being attacked, so he gives it back to them. What part of that don’t you understand? If he wanted to run as a DEM, then he would have changed party affiliation and done so. It isn’t like they have a long list of viable candidates. He could have probably sealed that nomination quickly. The DEMS don’t have their candidate yet, just as the Rs don’t. I hope you are a quick learner, because you flunked this test.

Yeah I have a friend who is deep in the Republican Party in Ohio and keeps admonishing me for liking Trump's antics.

He tells me that Trump was a Democrat before he was a Republican and that should disqualify him for consideration by any true conservative. I told him if I do vote for Trump it won't be the first time I voted for a Republican that was formerly a Democrat...

He was confused by my answer...

The GOPe has been attacking Trump and Cruz more than the dems.

The Examiner left out that salient little detail. Has Trump been replying to epub criticism? Yes, he has.

Why go after the Dems before the primary? That only helps them.

In states that have closed primaries, of course you attack those running against you, which are in your own party.

Yes, that’s true. But he’s duped a lot of people.

You say that as if you're smarter than everyone else.

My question to you is, "if you were wrong, what evidence could be presented to you that would convince you of your error?"

If you don't know the answer to that question, you don't know if you're right, either.

You’re right, Trump is all those things, yet he’s still a better option than the candidates the GOP-e wants to foist upon us.

1. That is sort of the purpose of primary season.

2. I won’t be voting for Trump but have had it up to here ^ with the GOP taking advantage of the base come election time, and then taking the base for granted till they need them again. No more money or votes until the GOP reforms or dies. If it takes a bloviating windbag to help them understand, fine and dandy.

3. Stop griping about Trump and start asking why Trump is polling so high and why he’s attacked on all sides.

To restore a Constitution respecting government in America, the opposition party to the Communist Party must clarify their values.
The current Republican Party needs to stand in opposition to the Democrats rather than gutlessly capitulating, so the first step must be to attack the Republican establishment elites in hopes of gaining control of the party so that the Republican Party can then launch a successful challenge to reverse the Communist agenda.

Trump has said multiple times on multiple interviews (including the recent on with Anderson Cooper on CNN) that Hilary Clinton is the WORST Secretary of State in the HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.

No, he’s not a stalking horse for Hilary.

Yeah, and all of his attacks have been on RINO’s....so keep up the good work, drive down their numbers and let the chips fall conservatively.

Hmmm, any word on whether ANY of the other Republicans running have gone after the Wildebeest lately - they seem to be spending all their time on Trump.

In fact, without Trump in the race, I think they’d still be hibernating.
