Democrats are using McConnell's promise to not shutdown the government as a weapon against him by delaying, opposing, and filibustering until the deadline approaches? Then McConnell will give them everything they want?

That is the narrative.

However McConnel hasn’t made, and apparently won’t make, the Dems DO their filibustering and vetoing to shut down the government.
So: the RINOs say that shutting down the government has hurt them BUT here’s a chance to let the Dems shut down the government- and unavoidably get the “blame”- and they run from it.

My opinion is that the plan all along was to have this excuse to break the sequester and the narrative we’re getting is just a cover story.

I don’t see where there’s a problem here. The House can use reconciliation to send the Senate a bill which can’t be filibustered. It’s how the Democrats gave us Deathcare.

Let Barack be the one to cause a shutdown.
