Rubio Rips Trump, Obama: US Already Has President With 'No Class'
newsmax.com ^ | Sandy Fitzgerald

Posted on 07/22/2015 8:27:13 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

The United States already has a president with "no class," Sen. Marco Rubio said Wednesday, and he doesn't believe Donald Trump's unorthodox candidacy shows the gravity that the office deserves.

"I don't believe his behavior last few weeks is dignified or worthy of the office he seeks," the Florida Republican said on Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program about his fellow candidate for the 2016 GOP nomination.

"The president of the United States is not just the top government official. It's the leader of our people, our nation. To conduct presidency, it has to be done in a dignified way."

*snip*

Trump, also appearing later on the Fox program, did not slam either Rubio or Fiorina for their words.

"I think they're both nice people," he said. "I really don't know them. They're fighting hard, trying hard. We'll see how they do. Honestly, I think they're nice people. Carly is right. We have to attack Hillary. She was the worst secretary of state in the history of the country. She's got plenty to lose by. I'll beat Hillary if chosen. I have thousands of Hispanics employed. They love me. Marco Rubio is doing his thing."

“Republicans lost the last two elections because they were unwilling to attack Obama. They will lose this one if the candidate is unwilling to be savage against the Dem, regardless of gender, color, ethnicity, or orientation.”

That disqualifies all gop candidates save for 3 or 4.
Cruz
Trump

and maybe
Walker
Fiorina

Great - get rid of the debt. But don’t take it from me. And don’t initiate a new kind of tax. It is a dangerous precedent from a dangerous man.

Did Marco not see what happened to McCain, to Lindsey Graham, to Rick Perry? When The Donald turns his firepower upon you as a target, it is devastating.

Better to have The Donald on your side than facing him in a distance-and-direction urination contest. The wind is always at The Donald’s back.

I have no love for Rube-io, he’s an establishment hack and his campaign is burning and spinning out of control, and that makes me smile. That being said I like Donald Trump’s ability to say it like it is, but I believe that his brash campaign style and his liberal background are going to catch up to him. He’s had a couple of moments that could have potentially sunk his campaign, and I believe that he is going to slip up and say or do something that is going to turn off the base and cost him the nomination.

I think that's why Trump's bandwagon is getting loaded with supporters.

He's a bulldog. He will clobber Hillary.

Two of the parents whose children were murdered by illegals thanked Trump for giving them a voice. One said she had tried for yrs to be heard. It took trump two minutes to get job done

The Texan boarder guards have invited Mr Trump down to enlighten him and honor him for giving them voice

He has opened a series of hot lines for vets More details coming

He has given the silencED majority. (Those who have been intimidated by the PC police and media) a voice

Name one thing another candidate has done on their money /media gathering circuit

Exactly! Think about how much it will cost Trump. But it is the fastest and easiest way to get us back to no debt.

Hollywood would go nuts. It would be fun to watch.

.

Marco Rubio gave up his senate seat knowing he would lose ... Florida Tea Party folks (who got him elected) DESPISE Marco Rubio ...

Marco's running for VP ... kinda like the "Hispanic Version" of the "gorgeous blond" at the High School Senior Prom ...

Marco Rubio looks great on TV ... not much integrity or substance underneath ... simply "blind" political ambition ... just like "Juan" McCain ...

Are FReepers actually OK with a 14% wealth tax? If a consensus has developed that FReepers are OK with a 14% wealth tax then I think maybe I would be better off on DU and reading Salon and HuffPo.

“Class” for Rubio is lying to the people that put him in power and getting rolled by the likes of Schumer.

I'll grant that Rubio has a good personality, seems educated and intelligent, and is respectful and appreciative of family.

The thing is, he seems to have a habit of saying and doing what people who help him move up the political ladder tell him to say and do. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought being a good lapdog is what class is all about.

Having a loyal little lapdog tell Trump he doesn't have "class"? What I'd think of as having no class is Rubio backstabbing the people who actually vote for him.

Perhaps it's like Survivor. Trump might want Rubio around for awhile and get rid of more capable competition first. This is a whole new level, the dwarfs having to worry about what Trump will say about them. Love it.

>>The wind is always at The Donald’s back.<<

So, it’s “The Donald” now? Hero-worshipers all, much like the Obama-worshipers that got our current president elected.

Trump and Obama have one thing in common. Neither believes his own words, but says what he has to say to satisfy his intended sycophants.

Many of you claim that we should have seen Obama coming. His history was clear. Well, so is “The Donald’s” and if past is prologue, you’re not going to like what you get from a President Trump. But hey, that would take investigating his past, the same investigating you accuse the MSM of failing to do in Obama’s case.

On a brighter note, when “The Donald” implodes, as he inevitably will, several GOP candidates are now well aware of just how potent the illegal alien issue has become. If it could levitate someone like Trump, whoever takes his place will understand the potency of the issue.

“Are FReepers actually OK with a 14% wealth tax? “

Hell no!
Like sorority girls on spring break with Dad’s credit card, Congress and the the pResident spend money as fast as they can get their hands on it.
Cut spending! Cut government!
Abolishing about two dozen feral agencies would be a good start: the crown jewel to be decrapitated would be the IRS.

Anyone who buys into Trump, given his past positions, will buy into anything, including a 100% one-time tax on all of your assets above a certain limit. After all, if he advocated it, he would be doing it to himself too. Ha, ha, ha, ha...some people will believe anything.

Meanwhile, Trump will be moving all his assets overseas, just in case he has to up the ante....
