NVERNESS, FL (WFLA) – Inverness-based Florida Gun Supply’s owner Andy Hallinan declared his store a “Muslim-free Zone,” in a politically controversial video posted on his business Facebook page. The post was met with a mix of support and strong criticism, particularly from the Council of American-Islamic Relations, which is calling for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate federal civil rights violations.
In the video, Hallinan sits in front of a back-drop of a Confederate flag. He begins talking about Southern heritage.
“This flag represents nothing but the rich heritage of the South and the willingness of patriots to stand up against tyranny of all sorts,” Hallinan says.
He says there is more racism in the U.S. now than there was before the Obama administration got into office.
“Our leaders are telling you that the cross is a symbol of intolerance and hatred, bigotry and anti-homosexuality. Don’t believe their lies,” Hallinan says.
And then Hallinan says the country’s leaders are lying when they say Islam is a peaceful religion.

If you knew Inverness, you’d realize why this isn’t a problem.
They should go for the “By law we are required to serve you goat-screwing perverts, but we will follow that law to the letter, especially the questions on Form 4473 and your demeanor and conduct while attempting to complete the transaction.”
If we had a sane government (not an obama one) CAIR would be the ones being investigated.
While I appreciate the spirit, I don’t think this is the proper method. The Justice Dept. will just carry the Moslem’s water and crush actions like this. Maybe the better tactic would be to declare the story a “bacon free zone” featuring our new Bacon doormat which every customer must walk over to enter the store, along with a variety of other bacon based products throughout the store. “All products come with a complimentary slice of bacon in the bag!”
How dare he refuse to do business with people he doesn’t like, the same way Mayor de Blasio doesn’t want to do business with Donald Trump.
That would not be a “Bacon Free Zone” but instead, a “Free Bacon Zone”!!!!!!

I solemenly declare that the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is Muslim - Free Zone. Note there is no mosque throughout the entire 14 counties that make up the portion of the state. I think I will petition the sae hat any Muslims entering via the international Bridge in Sault Sainte Marie and trying to enter from Troll Land (Lower Peninsula) be detained. Keep in Mind the Upper Peninsula’s is known as God’s Country come now even the fake Allah would not want to be dealing with God, because God would smote him down immediately if he entered God’s Country.

This is 2015. If the gun store owner agreed to and did sell a couple of 9mm semi-auto handguns and a supply of spare magazines and ammo to a couple of Muslim customers, he’d be a “good American”, free of prejudice.
IF those guns were turned against a restaurant or movie theater full of innocent people, said gun store owner would be labeled as “Public Enemy #1” and villified across the land.
Dozens of law-suits against him as “He should have known the dangers resulting from his action.”
Result——bankruptcy, ruin, social scorn, and persecution by the DOJ.

I think we've seen that most Moslems are willing to let that rule slide. AS with the 9/11 hijackers, it appears that the first thing these middle east Moslems do when they enter the country is to find the closest strip club.

In the end, the gun shop seller is the final defense against the potential for a bad sale. Bad sale being one that ends in the wrong person getting a gun.
The Form 4473 is the federal questionnaire, but the shop owner is the one ultimately responsible.
What that effectively means is that if the seller has any reservations whatsoever about selling the weapon, he can deny - even based on how the customer conducted himself during the encounter.
In my mind, a seller’s assertion that “this goat-screwer just didn’t give me the right vibes” is enough.
Wow, just imagine an establishment where the aromas of frying bacon and gunpowder smoke constantly mingle. I'd never want to leave.
