Donald Trump Calls Out Obama for Refusing to Condemn 'Islamic Terrorism' in Chattanooga Shooting

GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump called out President Barack Obama for his refusal to say "Islamic terrorism" in reference to the shooting Thursday in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which left four people dead. Trump suggested that given the security concerns that America is facing, the time for political correctness is over.

"It's going to get worse in our country and we better start fighting a lot tougher than we're fighting right now," Trump told Fox News host Bill O'Reilly in an interview. "If we're going to fight elements that are causing tremendous problems ... at least we have to start maybe being not so politically correct."

A 24-year-old suspect identified as Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez is believed to have carried out the attack on two military sites in Chattanooga, killing four Marines and wounding three other people before being shot dead by police.

What is known so far is that Abdulazeez was a naturalized American born in Kuwait, and that he was a devoted Muslim who blogged about Islam online.

The FBI, which is leading the investigation into the crime, has said that Abdulazeez was not on any terror suspect lists, and that it is too early to establish a motive for the attack.

"We are looking at every possible avenue, whether it was terrorism — whether it was domestic, international — or whether it was a simple, criminal act," FBI Special Agent Ed Reinhold said.

Obama called the shooting "heartbreaking," and said that the FBI and local law enforcement will provide the public with information as it becomes available.

"My main message right now is obviously the deepest sympathies of the American people to the four Marines that were killed," the president said.

"Obviously when you have an attack on a U.S. military facility, then we have to make sure that we have all the information necessary to make an assessment in terms of how this attack took place and what further precautions we can take in the future. And as we have more information, we'll let the public know."

Obama has previously been criticized by other conservatives for refusing to call terror group ISIS Islamic, but argued that he does not want to legitimize the jihadists by doing so.

"These terrorists are desperate for legitimacy. And all of us have a responsibility to refute the notion that groups like ISIL somehow represent Islam, because that is a falsehood that embraces the terrorists' narrative," Obama said back in February.

In his interview on Fox, Trump also spoke out against the no-gun-zones at the recruitment centers where the Marines were shot.

"These are four great Marines ... and that they're not allowed to carry guns is absolutely ridiculous," the billionaire businessman said.

:) Crap! I supposed someone else has the copyright on “bastard”! I really don’t like to feel this much dislike for another human, but he has not been loyal to his country. He was not loyal to Palin. He is someone who can’t wait to dig the knife in. I supported him in 2008 by voting for him, but it was mostly because of the energy that Palin brought to the race, and how scary I knew Obama was and was going to be. But by the time he started lecturing people, people that were supporting HIM, about not to say anything bad about Obama and what a wonderful president Obama would make, I knew it was over. Can I add looney tune? Does someone here have the copyright on that?

Just in case nobody here noticed, Trump is following the Cloward-Piven strategy of the Left.

He doesn’t get stuck on one thing, manufactured or not, he keeps moving forward onto the next thing and this situation with the Dear Leader disrespecting the Fallen is the next thing. Like him or hate him, Trump is taking no Prisoners.

It will cloud out the fake outrage over McCain. McCain is still Breathing, five of our Fallen Heroes aren’t.

I’m a Ted Cruz guy; second choice is Rand Paul. But, I hope Trump stays in as long as he can and gives the media, and the RINOs, more hell than all the demons who reside there could even imagine. I would say: “Give ‘em hell, Donald.” But, to quote Harry Truman: “I don’t have to give ‘em hell. All I have to do is tell the truth and they think it’s hell.”

It will cloud out the fake outrage over McCain.

It's as sickly, artificial, and thin as cotton candy. You can count on Republicans. They will ALWAYS let you down.

Why are we not hearing this from every candidate! Why?
____________________________________________________________

Ted Cruz and Rand Paul have been pretty good about calling out the Libs, and the RINOs, for their hypocrisy in the “Trump Fashion” somewhat. The rest of the candidates are, by-and-large, your run of the mill politicians who only say what they think is politically safe and correct. I could describe each of them in a word..... the word begins with a P and ends with a Y.

You need to correct #2 to add put their bodies inside pig carcasses and soak the hole with pig feces topped by a bunch of bacon.

How right you are. Remember the old adage, “Fight fire with fire?” Seems to have been discarded for the ridiculous Liberal idea of aiding and abetting your enemies.

I like Trump more and more. About time someone showed some good old fashioned Horse Sense and on top of that he is brilliant.

How many concerned Republican candidates condemned the threat against Trump from the FBI’s most wanted drug lord ?

Instead people treat it as joke, a guy who turned Mexico into a narco state.

I read he has given 54% to Ds .

Why do people here not realize the man is a businessman? Smart businessmen routinely donate to candidates in both parties. It's part of doing, um, business.

It will cloud out the fake outrage over McCain.

The fake outrage is already being crowded out because Trump was only clumsily repeating a joke both Al Franken and Chris Rock previously made. If the lib media continues getting after Trump for it, they'd have to get after Franken and Rock as well.

Obama called the shooting “heartbreaking,” —

Heartbreaking?????

Whose heart????

bo certainly can’t mean this in our normal sense.

He must mean he’s heartbroken that more Marines didn’t die, or that this is hard to deny as islamic Terrorism (and that Trump will make hay with it).
