"....He tried to negotiate, at one point offering Coking $1 million for the land. But she wasnt budging. So New Jerseys Casino Reinvestment Development Authority filed a lawsuit, instructing Coking to leave within 90 days and offering compensation of only $251,000.
Perhaps the only upside to this story is that in neither case did Trump succeed. The Bridgeport plan fizzled. Coking fought in court, and in part because these were the days before Kelo was decided, no doubt she was lucky enough to win. In 1998, a judge threw out the case.
In 2005, however, Trump was delighted to find that the Supreme Court had okayed the brand of government-abetted theft that hed twice attempted. I happen to agree with it 100 percent, he told Fox Newss Neil Cavuto of the Kelo decision.
Can Republicans support someone with so little regard for the property of others? Lets hope not."
July 18, 2015: Trump Stands By Past Support For Universal Health Care
"Trump said in 1999 when he was flirting with a presidential rub on the Reform Party ticket that the U.S. should make health care an entitlement and that coverage should be universal."
May 5, 2015: Trump: Geller 'taunting' Muslims with Muhammad event [she's an "obnoxious blowhard"]
"..We spend billions and billions of dollars fighting and even trillions of dollars fighting. We end up getting nothing out of it. And the last thing we need is an obnoxious blowhard like Geller to go out and start trouble, when there's no reason for it....
TRUMP:Well, there certainly is a war going on.And she should be a--she should be much more responsible because what she's doing is unnecessary. I will give you an example. Let her go out and talk about--she's using those show free speech. She's not using it for any other--and she's using it for her own purpose...
April 26, 2011: Trumps donation history shows Democratic favoritism
"Billionaire Donald J. Trump, an early presidential favorite among tea party activists, has a highly unusual history of political contributions for a prospective Republican candidate: He has given most of his money to the other side.
The real estate mogul and Celebrity Apprentice host has made more than $1.3 million in donations over the years to candidates nationwide, with 54 percent of the money going to Democrats, according to a Washington Post analysis of state and federal disclosure records.
Recipients include Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.), former Pennsylvania governor Edward G. Rendell, and Rahm Emanuel, a former aide to President Obama who received $50,000 from Trump during his recent run to become Chicagos mayor, records show. Many of the contributions have been concentrated in New York, Florida and other states where Trump has substantial real estate and casino interests.".....
When he considered a run for president in 2000 as a Reform Party candidate, Trump said he supported abortion rights. But he said last week that he now opposes the procedure except in cases of rape or incest or when the mothers health is at risk......
March 2012: Donald Trump with Greta Van Susteren [discusses his feelings about Bill and Hillary Clinton]
".......TRUMP: I think Biden has been a very loyal person, to be honest with you. I think he has been a good vice president for the agenda that they set and he has been a very, very loyal person. I respect him for that.
Hillary Clinton I think is a terrific woman. I am biased because I have known her for years. I live in New York. She lives in New York. I really like her and her husband both a lot. I think she really works hard. And I think, again, she's given an agenda, it is not all of her, but I think she really works hard and I think she does a good job. I like her.
VAN SUSTEREN: She says she's out at the end of this term. Do you think we will see her again running for office?
TRUMP: I think so. Assuming she is healthy, I think she probably runs after the next four years, I would imagine.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you support her?
TRUMP: I don't want to get into this because I will get myself into trouble --
VAN SUSTEREN: That's why I asked you.
TRUMP: I just like her. I like her husband. Her husband made a speech on Monday and was very well received. He is -- he is a really good guy, and she's a really good person and woman.".......

Don’t like Russo. Don’t like McCain. Don’t like Trump. They can all tear each other to pieces for all I care.
So no one wants the Tea Party/Conservatives which comprise over 40% of the population.
I guess you won’t be posting this, but I’ll help - and will post it on each of your Trump hit-pieces.
Walker will do as well as Perry did in 2012 once his ‘very spotty’ record on Illegal immigration is exposed.

I’m a Tea Party Type, and I support Trump and his taking on both the GOPe and the Democrats.
I’m not impressed with anyone who claims to be a Tea Party “leader”.
This is a movement with no leader.
This repeat posting of Trump history is incredibly meaningless. Who cares? Do you personally not like Trump or just think it your role to trash him in support of Walker? Walker is a local or regional candidate that is a nobody, a back bencher that might get GOPe attention if Bush III or Rubio fall aside, but otherwise, he is wasting time and money. He seriously needs a new message and some better presentation skills. Very NOT impressive.
Good post, CW.
While Walker is my 2nd choice, I appreciate people telling the truth about Trump.
I might not agree with everything Mr. Trump says but right now I find him talking about issues that the others won't talk about.
I have just about had it with the Establishment Republican Anointed candidates and I will not vote for Jeb Bush under any circumstances. So if Trump somehow becomes the nominee and is, in your words, the protest candidate I will vote for him. By the way Sal protest candidates have won at every level of politics so maybe it's time one won on the national level. Don't call for any money, you aren't getting any as is the RNC and any other Republican calling.
Uh, I thought there wasn’t a singular “Tea Party” to decide on anything? So where did they assume collective opinion on Trump?
Here is a tip for the people that dont like this guy on the right: TELL THE PERSON YOU SUPPORT TO GET OUT THERE AND MAKE SOME NOISE.
And since when did we start feeling sorry for McCain? Let him and his RINO buddies defend him.
I sure don't donate to the RNC.
I think Trump is separating the sheep from the goats and not sure that is even his goal.. Just telling the truth!
It’s interesting how people who support Cruz ( I love Cruz!) can’t be as gracious as Cruz when they speak about Trump.
Maybe the actually don’t respect Cruz at all? When Cruz starts beating up on Trump, I’ll take a listen. Right now, Cruz is ok with Trump and that’s ok with me.
I know A LOT of people who didn’t realize how BAD the DemocRATS are until recently.
I’d put Trump in that group.
And Lord knows in the past I’ve had my issues with the Donald and his ego but he is now saying things that need to be said.
If this is what it takes to out the Rhino’s in our party so be it...
All Trump needs to do is call for a marriage amendment banning same sex marriage.... and tell the world Lindsey Graham is really a Linda Graham, and then the Tea Party will be back with him......
Trump also called for a 20% tariff on all imports from China and even higher tariffs on imports from Mexico. Hardly a position that would be taken from a free market conservative.
Also, Trump was proudly pro-choice until only recently. (i.e. when he started to consider running for the GOP nomination)
All in all another great post. Keep 'em coming; some of us actually enjoy reading about the issues.
I thought the Tea Party was no more? I guess it’s been resurrected to push the meme of Donald Trump’s demise.
See what happens when an DC Cartel outsider leads the polls. He gets missquoted, taken out of context and the Tea Party leaves him before he polls number one. Smells like desperation to me. They would do the exact same thing to Cruz if he polled number one.
Russo works with Willard the cowardly Rat Romney to help
Tag Romney and Willard ... profit from sales to Iran.
Google it yourself.
These people are scum, not TEA Party.
They support the Mullahs against Freedom
The GOP needs to wake the hell up and quit thinking it can out democrat the democrats.
TRUMP=TRUTH
Huge thanks for posting inconvenient Trump facts.
He is the right’s 2016 Perot spoiler / radioactive PR embarassment.
Always watch out for a loud loose cannon repeatedly going off on deck - it’s gonna hurt you.
Our best hope is *Cruz with a Strong conservative plank.
*his TPA / TPP support not forgotten or forgiven.
