This is why I’m not a registered Republican. The party goes after critics of liberal policy and politicans harder than they do actually Democrats like Obama, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, etc. After Donald Trump POW comments earlier today about Songbird John McCain, the RNC quickly put out a statement bashing Trump and trying to protect McCain.

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chief Strategist and Communications Director Sean Spicer released the following statement in response to Donald Trump’s comments:
“Senator McCain is an American hero because he served his country and sacrificed more than most can imagine. Period. There is no place in our party or our country for comments that disparage those who have served honorably.”
Reince Prebius was too much of a chicken shit to issue the statement himself. Instead, he sent out Sean Spicer Chief Strategist & Communications Director, Republican National Cmte to do his dirty work.
If the RNC would have gone after Obama like they do conservatives, or critics of their liberal policies, Mitt Romney would be president today..
Only the RNC could make me somewhat stick up for Donald Trump. I don’t like the man but I do like his no political correctness. It’s starting to look a lot like 1992. Trump will eventually fade away in the polls, and run third party handing Clinton the presidency.
McCain is a rino and all rinos are worthless fools who are over paid politicians representing themselves and their leftist cohorts. No good bums.
[I do know the RNC did not put out any statements when McVain called certain Republican people “crazies”, “fruit loops” and “hobbits”.]

Clearly the RNCe is terrified of having a Presidential candidate like Donald Trump who actually speaks the truth.
The RNC already has been paid by the Cheap Labor Express for an amnesty candidate.
They must deliver one.
The citizens must be blocked from electing anyone who would stop The Cheap Labor Express.

Perfect picture to sum up McCain’s “war record” and I’ve thought the same thing, talk to Americans about Benedict Arnold in 1777 and he was a war hero against the British, a couple years after he became our greatest traitor. Whatever McCain did for us in Vietnam, he became a traitor the moment that he and fellow RINOs Marco Rubio, Orrin Hatch, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte and Mark Kirk tag-teamed to open our borders to amnesty and the H1b visa and violate the Constitution. Anyone who tramples on the Constitution as McCain repeatedly has is no hero to this nation.

Ya know,,,,, I used to hope the Party could be saved. I had hopes that the Tea Party could do it. I have given up that hope, and am now an Independent Constitutional Conservative.
Earlier someone said Trump “needs to be more careful with his words”. Isn’t that the essence of PC which got us to this point? Give’em hell Trump...and anyone else. It is called Freedom of Speech.
Trumps job is getting and holding peoples’s attention. If you play that game against him, you’re going to lose.

I think you are right. They are likely miffed that their plan to use McCain and his designated hero status to insult Trump and get away with it is not going to work.
The Republican National Committee, in ANY of things Trump, is a non sequetor.
Trump has his own money. He said he does not have pollsters, or people that he puts before them what he is about to say, i.e., the RNC. He says what he says, and that is it. There are no followers to placate, palms to grease, rings to kiss, nothing.
The GOP’s death wish is well on its way to being fulfilled.

I'm wondering if Trump has good clear recordings of Songbird's radio broadcasts from Hanoi. From back in the day I remember our media playing snippets from them right after the original broadcasts.
