The NYPD has issued a “be on the lookout” alert after a woman carrying what appears to be weapon was photographed on Staten Island.
The photos were taken Friday at the Midland Beach parking lot by a retired member of the NYPD.
It is not yet clear if the weapon the person was spotted carrying is an actual assault rifle or paintball gun.
Police are searching for two SUVs with New Jersey license plates A83FCB and PSJ52V.
Another person shows two additional people holding what appears to be weapons.

If you have the license plates, you have some names and addresses. They could ask cell phone providers if any of these people are subscribers, and if so where they are right now.

I don’t care if it is a paintball gun (or Airsoft gun, as seems more likely if it’s not a real firearm), in today’s world you just don’t brandish something like that in public.

All bridges out of Staten Island are down to one lane now so they can check cars leaving... just in time for rush hour.
Perhaps they’re out with airsoft guns, trolling for an arrest, so they and their CAIR lawyers can then sue for discrimination.
