People who live on the West Coast are more likely to cheat on their partner, a new study reveals.
A May 2015 study of 2,000 Americans by Avo found that 20 per cent of people who live in sunnier climes have admitted to cheating on their partner.
Those who lived in the Midwest were the most faithful in their romantic relationships.
Only 10 per cent of Midwesterners report cheating on a partner compared with 16 per cent of people in the Northeast, 17 per cent in the South.

I doubt it’s that high in Hawaii. Because everyone knows everyone else or is related—”hey, you my aunty’s brother’s cousin’s sister,” as the Rap Reiplinger skit goes, you can’t do anything in Hawaii without everyone else knowing about it in 24 hours.
Very soon it won’t be defined as cheating anymore.
Happily my wife and I are just two people, so 1 in 5 doesn’t apply.

Probably not that good. There was a study done in Chicago in the late 50’s where they were testing some aspect of heritability of blood types. They terminated the study very early when they discovered that 15% of the babies were unambiguously NOT the child of the fellow who thought he was the father. That number was low because some babies, not the child of the supposed father, would still have a blood type consistent with the father’s.

As always, cross tabs would be interesting. Age, religion, ethnicity, etc. I suspect there would be some glaring differencess.
Black? Asian? White? Rich? Poor? Education? The cross tabs would be fascinating.
