Obama Defends Nuclear Deal: Either My Deal Or War With Iran

President Obama challenged critics of his newly minted Iran nuclear deal, asserting that his agreement was the only one that would prevent the country from getting a nuclear bomb.

“The facts are the facts,” he insisted, saying his argument was “hard to dispute” by critics who’s arguments he asserted “defies logic” and “makes no sense.”

He also mocked some critics, suggesting that they were unfairly raising concerns about Iran “taking over the world.”

“I say that not tongue in cheek, because if you look at some of the statements by some of our critics, you would think that Iran is, in fact, going to take over the world as a consequence of this deal, which I think would be news to the Iranians,” he said.

actually there were other options — including just staying the course and doing nothing and leaving the sanctions in place. Not saying that is necessarily the right thing to do but it would have been preferable to Obama’s deal that gives Iran billions and a green light to nukes. In this case even doing nothing is better than doing something stupid.

Another thing he could have done was pulled a Reagan and given all kinds of support to the Green Revolution in 2009, which was a genuine people's movement to unseat the Iranian theocracy.

But of course, Obama wouldn't have done that because he supports the Iranian theocracy.

we should have rubblized iran in 1980 followed by additional runs for each IED that went off in Iraq.

It's not too late to turn the entire country to glass ......

Excellent point. After all Obama is the one who has been involved in overthrows of regimes in Eqypt, Libya and Syria yet is apparently content with the one regime in that area that could really do us harm - namely Iran. Not only content but wants to give them money.
