I can't see Trump lasting for long. He has no coherent ideology. That should be apparent after the first debate.

Cruz wrote: “They simply do so from different directions. The Tenth stops new powers, and the Ninth fortifies all other rights, or non-powers.”[36][37]

No we didn't. Trump talked it up from early in the year and then announced on May 16 that he would not be running. Seems we are a little past May 16 this year and he has actually declared his candidacy. He never declared his candidacy in 2011 or any other year until now.
