Hillary: "We Have To Build A Growth And Fairness Economy"
RCP Video ^ | 7-13-2015 | RCP transcript

Posted on 07/14/2015 4:50:47 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

HILLARY CLINTON, CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT: Now today — today, as the shadow of crisis recedes and longer- term challenges come into focus, I believe we have to build a growth and fairness economy. You can’t have one without the other. We can’t create enough jobs and new businesses without more growth, and we can’t build strong families and support our consumer economy without more fairness. We need both.

Because while America standing again, we are not yet running the way we should. Corporate profits are at near record highs and Americans are working as hard as ever. But paychecks had nearly budged in real terms. Families today are stretched in so many directions, and so are their budgets. Out of pocket costs of health care, child care, hearing for aging parents, are rising a lot faster than wages.

(snip)

Millions of hardworking Americans tell similar stories. Wages need to rise to keep up with cost, paychecks need to grow. Families who work hard and do their part deserve to get ahead and stay ahead. The defining economic challenge of our time clear. We must raise incomes for hard-working Americans, so they can afford a middle-class life. We must drive steady income growth that lifts up families, and lifts up our country. And that…

(APPLAUSE)

And that will be my mission, from the first day I am president to the last.

Hillary, using the potus office to be the philanthropist.

BTW, did you know the Clinton Foundation is a charity, and not a money laundering means for Bill & Hill not to be 'dead broke'?

Blah blah blah blah blah blah.

She and Joe and O made these same types of promises in 2008.

We knew they were lies then, and they’re still lies now.

Tiresome old meme from the world’s smartest woman.

Somebody has to point it out to Dems that her message is a severe criticism of Obama’s (so far) seven years reign.

That’s exactly what that bloated bovine is saying.

I’m angry that my southern neighbors even allow people like this to walk free.

I know the north has the same issues, it’s why it’s frustrating to see it happening there too.

Hillary Hillary Hillary, {SMDH} don’t you know that “growth” and “fairness” (aka “socialism”) simply never coexist? Stupid fascist/socialist {expletive}.

Socialism is exactly what destroys growth and fairness. Hillary Clinton’s senior thesis at Wellesley College was about Saul Alinsky. She was a socialist, she always will be a socialist. She lies to herself, she lies to everyone else. Her life is a lie and everything she proposes is a lie that only is put forth to advance her agenda and the agenda of those who share similar goals.

Václav Havel was a playwright, essayist and a poet. He was also the last President of Czechoslovakia before it was broken up into the Czeck Republic and Slovaka.

He lived under suffocating socialism. Socialism depends upon a fundamental lie: that society will be better when everyone lives at the expense of everyone else. This required institutionalized lies that had a horribly corrosive effect on humanity. In his famous essay, Power of the Powerless, he wrote:

“...[socialism] touches people at every step, but it does so with its ideological gloves on. This is why life in the system is so thoroughly permeated with hypocrisy and lies: government by bureaucracy is called popular government;
the working class is enslaved in the name of the work ing class; the complete degradation of the individual is presented as his ultimate liberation; depriving people of information is called making it available; the use of power to manipulate is called the public control of power, and
the arbitrary abuse of power is called observing the legal code; the repression of culture is called its development; the expansion of imperial influence is presented as support for the oppressed; the lack of free expression becomes the highest form of freedom; farcical elections become the highest form of democracy; banning independent thought becomes the most scientific of world views; military occupation becomes fraternal assistance. Because the regime is captive to its own lies, it must falsify everything.
It falsifies the past. It falsifies the present, and it falsifies the future. It falsifies statistics. It pretends not to possess an omnipotent and unprincipled police apparatus. It pretends to respect human rights. It
pretends to persecute no one. It pretends to fear nothing. It pretends to pretend nothing.

“Individuals need not believe all these mystifications, but they must behave as though they did, or they must at least tolerate them in silence, or get along well with those who work with them. For this reason, however, they
must live within a lie. They need not accept the lie. It is enough for them to have accepted their life with it and in it. For by this very fact, individuals confirm the system, fulfill the system, make the system, are the system.”

Now today — today, as the shadow of crisis recedes and longer- term challenges come into focus, I believe we have to build a growth and fairness economy

What the heck does that even mean? The shadow of crisis isn't receded, it looms very large over nearly half the citizenry. And its shadow is stretching larger ever still as the sun sets on the American dream.

Fairness, progressive fairness, is nothing but distributive labor for the social good. We can’t create enough jobs and new businesses without more growth, and we can’t build strong families and support our consumer economy without more fairness. We need both. She is running on the consumer economy, so that is more low wage jobs. Or to interject the progressive wage fairness modal here, she's talking about raising minimum wage. I often quote Royal Meeker in discussions regarding minimum wage, as the quote speaks truth to the Democrat White Privilege. She is selling nothing more than the continued and greatly widened idea of government controlled eugenics.

Corporate profits are at near record highs and Americans are working as hard as ever. But paychecks had nearly budged in real terms. Families today are stretched in so many directions, and so are their budgets. Out of pocket costs of health care, child care, hearing for aging parents, are rising a lot faster than wages.

All of that is true, but companies are not going to invest in the current economic climate created by the last 8 years. That money will flow back into the American economy when we're no longer discussing or focusing on a "consumer" driven economy. A consumer driven economy heavily regulated by government isn't going to make anything more affordable, this is not American capitalism. The economic problem is not wages, fairness, etc. to address the economic problem one must ask why corporate profits are being invested elsewhere, held, or distributed to those who are working.

Where are corporate profits at near highs? Most evil corporations are barely surviving thanks to these greedy Marxists.

Pray America is waking

Hillary’s ‘growth economy’, in other words - jobs creation, is the same as Obama’s (and all other socialists’). And Obama’s doing nothing else but creating more rules/regulations, bureaucrats and other hanger-ons. That is why we should point it out to the Dems that Obama’s policy (policies) had not just failed, but failed epically.

Jobs created by the government is paid for by taxpayer money, and how that makes sense (to actually increase the revenue) in a socialist economy is never explained. It is always evil corporates or top 1% blah blah blah......
