In the aftermath of the escape of famed capo Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Leora, a Mexican bishop has made headlines by arguing for a statue built in honor of the drug lord.

Thanks jerk for posting a headline to try and make a Catholic
bishop look bad. The article actually states that the Bishop stated that a statute should be erected for El Chapo for exposing the total corruption of the Mexican government that led to his escape.

Not fair. The bishop was not praising the drug lord. He said his escape brought attention to the corruption. The bishop stands a chance of being murdered for speaking out. He deserves respect.
