I dunno, I heard Scott Walker was for Common Core immigration, so long as you renamed it Grover.

For those keeping track of the choices, here is a link about Walker, and it is supposed to have a list of all candidates. [My computer was taking forever to bring up the site so I simply clicked the URL without waiting to read it.]

LOLOLOL

No, he’s not for illegal immigration, no Common Core (keep education in local hands) and I don’t know what Norquist is doing now.

I like what Trump is saying but deeds speak more than words and Walker took on the left and won in a democrat state. So long as Walker is not an amnesty guy I would vote for him in a heartbeat.

I don’t have a candidate yet. I like Cruz so far, but I try to look at the facts surrounding candidates instead of just emotionally going all in on one guy while dismissing any non-cheerleading data point.

There are no coincidences in Presidential politics. Walker is not bringing up Rubio to “rib” him. There is nothing in any of the articles that would suggest that.

The data and past history instead suggests that Walker will be soft on immigration and leans towards corporatism more than conservatism.

There are parts of corporatism that I agree with. I just don’t think this guy is the conservative savior that you try to portray him to be.

If he is the guy, thats fine. I just want everyone to go in with their eyes open in regards to his actions as opposed to White Road conversion rhetoric.

In regards to Dayspring....they offered to hire him 3 months before the legal firewall was in place. That means it was most likely coordinated with Walker.

Oh yeah? Well, Scott Walker doesn’t have an electrician’s degree, so he’s obviously uneducated!

Walker’s announcement garnered all the excitement of a flea circus today. With HIllary’s speech I doubt if half the country even knows Walker finally got pushed into the pool. The word anticlimactic springs to mind.

Yea, I remember when GWB was first running and Rush told us he met with him and that he (GWB) was a conservative.

If someone holding public office for more than a week has to try to verbally convince you s/he's conservative...s/he probably isn't.

When you are having a hard time getting politicians to continue towing the line after being elected, wouldn’t you think the best place to start would be with a candidate from a State that actually votes with your beliefs consistently?

The guy is from Wisconsin, they think anyone slightly to the right of Pol Pot is a fascist.

Not sure but hasn’t Walker flipped back and forth on immigration?

He has been following the Romney playbook. I like bold people who have principled positions and stick with them.

OK, if things change you can make adjustments, but illegals never change, Common Core is the same, so why flip flop.

And Grover is anti Israel, and not a Tea Party guy. Who has Grover backed we liked. Isn’t he a back room dealer, I don’t like them.

Grover Norquist is an open borders guy (and closet Muslim).
Grover Norquist supports Walker.

Do you have anything else to say?

Actually, I had debated on the hyphen.

As time goes on, I'll probably nest them instead.

——He supports Commie Core-he just RENAMES IT!

Are you droolingly Ignorant or a liar?

Republican Gov. Scott Walker said Thursday he wants Wisconsin to repeal the Common Core education standards it has adopted along with most other states, making his strongest statement on the issue yet.

“Today, I call on the members of the state Legislature to pass a bill in early January to repeal Common Core and replace it with standards set by people in Wisconsin,” Walker said in a written statement.

http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/walker-calls-for-legislature-to-repeal-common-core-standards-b99313429z1-267570401.html

Governor Walker’s budget includes a repeal of Common Core. His proposal ensures locally-approved standards set at the local level by local administrators, educators, and parents. It explicitly states no school district in the state is required to adopt the Common Core Standards. The budget proposal also explicitly stipulates that DPI [Department of Public Instruction] may not participate in the Smarter Balance Consortium. The Smarter Balance would be in place this spring, but eliminated for the following spring.”

Kirsten Lombard, a Wisconsin grassroots activist and editor of Common Ground on Common Core: Voices from across the Political Spectrum Expose the Realities of the Common Core State Standards, admits this is a good start.
