Whats the deal with Donald Trump?
He cant possibly think he has a chance against a dozen highly qualified candidates, all but one of whom have held elective office, from governor to senator, for years. He must know that after a tiny pop in the polls over the silly summer season (remember Howard Dean?), hell tumble back down to earth and disappear.
True, Mr. Trump couldnt care less how embarrassing he is to the Republican Party, sure, but also to himself. Hes an egotistical narcissist just blowing some of his $7 billion while in between tapings of his god-awful show The Apprentice. Might as well run for president.
But something else seems afoot. Mr. Trump is starting to look like a Democratic plant and some top Republicans are starting to say so.

The Bush dynasty sincerely thanks you for your support.
America could use more anti illegal pro American jobs liberals. We have too many pro illegal pro crony capitalist “conservatives”.
Howard Dean didn’t disappear.
I think Trump is in there to pull the GOPe field to the right. Here’s hoping he does.
The Establishment GOP, McCon-man, and Boner are the democrap plant.
Don’t tell that to his supporters...
Jeb is the plant for the democrat party. If he is the GOP nominee,
the GOP will lose...again.
Go down to your local city council meeting with a group of citizens who don’t usually attend, and challenge the machine politics twirps who run your town.
You will then witness exactly the establishment reaction to Trump.
GeronL is a Clinton-Romney-Bush plant.
Well, looks like he does. He’s sure hitting it off with the people who are absolutely fed the hell up with lying politicians. Trump speaks the plain truth about the illegal alien invasion, the crowd roars their approval, the polls shift to Trump, and he has the spineless amnesty pimps of the GOPe shitting their pants.
Wishful thinking, Joe.
I suspect that many people would be more interested in the substance of Trump's arguments, and how he is forming the national debate.
Trivial and unsupported negative "predictions" are all too common for Donald Trump.
Prove otherwise.
Why is it so hard from the Trumpers to admit his Democrat past...recent past too?
I saw Jeb! on some show this morning. In countering what Trump was saying, he started listing what he considered to be the real Republican strengths, real gentle, caring stuff and he mentioned less government, etc. He said nothing about preserving the country as a traditional American entity; for him it is just an economic area populated with consumers with no particular identifying culture.
Hes sure hitting it off with the people who are absolutely fed the hell up with lying politicians. Trump speaks the plain truth about the illegal alien invasion, the crowd roars their approval, the polls shift to Trump, and he has the spineless amnesty pimps of the GOPe shitting their pants.
Trump is a one-man REVOLUTION.
...he can’t possibly think he has a chance against a dozen more qualified candidates..
Yup. I stopped reading after that.
I am hoping for a Trump/Cruz ticket.
Cruz is the only candidate whom Trump has praised so far.
The Bush dynasty sincerely thanks you too for your support.
Looking sharp MOUTH.
I don’t care about anything but the border. He gets elected and builds a wall then call me a liberal.
One man, a few days time and a few speeches have turned the political world inside out.
