Iranian Media Outlines Nuclear Deal - And It's Very Bad Indeed

Semi-official Fars news agency in Iran has published an outline of the expected nuclear agreement between Iran and Western powers.

The most notable aspect of the deal is that "all economic, financial and banking sanctions against Iran will be terminated for good on day one after the endorsement of the deal."

Iran currently faces economic pressure from several different sources. The United Nations began sanctioning Iran in 2006, after the International Atomic Energy Agency reported that the Islamic Republic was ignoring restrictions on developing nuclear weapons. The United States then began sanctioning the country in 2011, and the European Union followed the next year.

Most previous reports on the current negotiation suggested that only the UN sanctions would be immediately lifted, while the US and EU sanctions would remain, at least until Iran guarantees its good will.

The Fars report also states that “the upcoming UN Security Council resolution – that will call all the previous five resolutions against Iran null and void - will be the last resolution to be issued on Iran’s nuclear program and [the UN will withdraw] Iran’s nuclear dossier from under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter. This last resolution will remain valid and will be implemented for a specifically limited period of time and will then automatically end at the end of this period.”

While the Fars report did not discuss the deal's restrictions on Iran, a senior US official confirmed that Iran will not open all of its facilities to international inspectors. He explained that if the inspectors believe that Iran is illegally developing nuclear weapons, they will ask permission from the Islamic Republic to inspect suspicious sites.

We cannot arrogate to ourselves the knowledge of what phase history is in.

However we can get some idea of proportion.

Ever since the first century, when things got difficult Christians were crying out that surely the Lord must be coming right now.

To be frank, even with “gay cakes” and the like, America still has it peachy for Christians compared with the days of feeding to lions, which somehow didn’t provoke a physical return of the Savior.

Those are H bombs... it would take a while for Iran to get H bombs...

Not neccessarily, the U.S. got as high as 500 kilotons from just a fission bomb. (Ivy King). Nonetheless, single digits of kilotons would easily level large skyscrapers and level the buildings off the island of Manhattan. That’s just a fission bomb. The main reason why H-bombs were actually made on the range of multiple Megatons was simply because the accuracy of ballistic missile systems was unreliable, so logic dictated that you would likewise have such a large yield bomb to cover such a large area that even if you were miles off, it would still touch the target. Nowadays, however, suicide nuclear plane or ship attacks would offer enough devastation to kill thousands or millions of people with a small-yield fission bomb, because city buildings are not hardened or below ground as most Russian/American weapons are designed to target.

It took a lot of development to get there from Hiroshima bomb. The Iran bomb is a from scratch bomb. Little ones are easier to get to go boom, than big ones.

And who cares why... the H bombs still DO have that power. Many more Iranians than Israelis will enter eternity in any exchange that is sparked by primitive bombs.

“I hope that there is an agreement.

But I also hope that Obama and Kerry don’t give away the house. ....”

ANY deal Obama/Kerry make will be a bad deal.

The only good deal from Obama/Kerry, and friends is NO DEAL.

"But I also hope that Obama and Kerry don't give away the house. God help us and Israel if Obama and Kerry give away the house."

I think we will find that they have done more than given away the house. They will have done everything possible, plus technical assistance for Iran's nuclear program, to enable an attack on Israel and then on the US or Western Europe. Obama intends to eliminate those troublesome Jews plus as many Christians as possible to pave the way for the Greater Caliphae. He has already gotten many thousands killed and toppled governments to help the transnational Islamists. More to come.

It’s also a question of delivery and accuracy. An accurately delivered 20 kiloton bomb straight in the middle of NYC is more devastating in terms of the body count and damage than a 1 megaton aimed at a desert missile silo.

TBH, though, if America does get nuked, it’s much more likely to be by Russia than Iran at this point.
