Trump takes incendiary immigration views to GOP faithful: Tycoon says he would fine 'cunning' Mexico $100,000 for every illegal immigrant who crosses border in order to 'take back our country'

At the second address in Phoenix, Trump unveiled his plan, under which he would hold the government responsible for those who crossed the border, and charge them a fee for each person.

He said: 'Every time Mexico - really intelligently - sends people over we charge Mexico $100,000 for every person they send over.

Republican frontrunner spoke at events in Las Vegas and Phoenix, Arizona Railed against government of Mexico for 'sending' people 'they don't want' Said he would fine them $100,000 for every illegal border crossing But defended legal immigration, pointed out he is married to a Slovenian Also pushed his credentials as a negotiator, and slammed current 'bad deals' by U.S. politicians including Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry Said he's 'militaristic', wants to dramatically increase defense spending

Donald Trump has won over Republican voters with a pair of speeches to the party faithful, attacking the government of Mexico and outlining a plan to charge them $100,000 for every illegal immigrant who crosses the southern border.

The Republican presidential front-runner got round after round of applause at successive events in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona, at which he rounded on the Mexican government for allegedly 'pushing' undocumented immigrants to the U.S. to avoid dealing with them themselves.

Trump said that Mexico had been allowed to get away with the scheme because they are 'smart' and President Obama and his administration are 'stupid' - a situation which can only be fixed if he leads the charge to 'take back our country'.

You're expecting the UN to do something that benefits the U.S. How often does that happen?

LOL - the answer you're looking for is: "NEVER"...

I’m not expecting it, but it would be a good way to show the UN up as being hypocritical. We are having a refugee crisis and the UN does nothing about it? Well, lambast them loudly and relentlessly over it.

The point is, Trump is right about the reasons Mexicans are coming here in such numbers ... their government is corrupt and inept.

I truly find it hard to believe so many people would leave their homes, their families, their culture, language etc. unless under extreme duress. This should be handled not on an individual basis but instead as a widespread humanitarian crisis wholly created by Mexico itself. I’m just saying he is on the right track with this. Mexico is responsible and it’s time we started holding them responsible, whether that through the UN or some other way.

In any case, we should use the UN’s own terms and protocols to support our case, if for no other reason than to shove it in their face that they are being hypocritical if they don’t formally recognize their own parameters for a refugee situation.

Actually, if we skimmed the 100k or 50K off the top and then paid Mexico 30K a head to come get their illegals, that could work as well. Or simply offering up bounties in the US. Pay 30K at the border as they are marched back into Mexico.

Well then, McLeod’s can send it for them. Solves that problem.

“Make them smuggle their money back to Mexico”

That is the key.

That's already a given. The U.S. will be painted as the rich nation unwilling to help those poor souls down south.

Seal the border tight with US troops authorized to shoot invaders. Then deport all illegals. Within a month, Mexico would erupt in revolution.

Funny, LaRaza doesn’t have a problem being insensitive towards Americans.
