Wednesday on The Stephanie Miller Show, former President Jimmy Carter said because of the stupid Supreme Court ruling in the Citizens United case, America has become a plutocracy.
Carter said, The basic structure of our moral values of the framework of our democracy has gone down the drain in the last twenty years or so and its now become pretty much a plutocracy where money determines who will be the Democratic and Republican nominees. Money determines who will win election for Congress or for the U.S. Senate or for the governorship And the massive infusion of money that has come into the political process because of the Supreme Courts stupid ruling on Citizens United has resulted in using a lot of those funds for negative commercials to tear down the reputation of our opponent, which generates animosity, which carries on into Washington so its a very horrible thing that happened to American political systems.

3rd or 4th. I coin flip between him and W.
Jimmah is an expert on stupid.
Nonsense. America became a kakocracy once Arizona was made a state. At that point there was no place to escape and the Progressives and elites implemented the income tax. That was the end of republicanism. We got the 16th, 17th and 18th Amendments aka the Progressive Amendments.
Those three blows killed the republic and made us a kakocracy. Naturally, the plutocrats responded by using government as a tool to maintain the status quo. Ironically, under normal conditions politicians demand the status quo, yet for a fateful year they determined to reduce it via the 17th. Go figure.
If you could undo one year of American legislation April 1912 to May 1913 would be the perfect time.
