No evidence of bulk orders or sales through any retailer or organization, says the publisher, in a rare rebuttal to the all-powerful Times.
Publishing giant HarperCollins is publicly pushing back against the New York Times claim that Ted Cruzs new book, A Time For Truth, was disqualified from its bestseller list because sales were limited to strategic bulk purchases.
In a statement provided to BuzzFeed News, HarperCollins publicity director Tina Andreadis said the company looked into the matter and found no evidence of bulk orders or sales through any retailer or organization.

That was an entertaining movie.
I’m beginning to think the NYT is biased.
I’m way behind with my reading list, but I’ll now have to buy Ted’s book right away.
Ya don’t say.
The only thing is everyone does this. So Cruz has to buy his own books. I have heard many others have to buy their own books too. I mean Cruz does not have that many supporters to make him a best selling author. Of course he has to buy his own books. He is not John Grisham.
What was the movie?
“Real Genius”. Had a very young Val Kilmer and he was great.
You will not be able to put this book down, though it will make your stomach turn to read what a nasty, lying bunch of corrupt frauds the Republican senators are. McConnell ought to be tarred and feathered and driven into the nearest swamp.
Gee, if I understand the Cruz Campaign response, that is not he case.
I seem to remember Hillary’s Book being given away with every $20 Donation to the DNC back in 2008.
Wish I remembered where I read that.
Well, it could be a Dream.
I’m getting old.
I remember that too. And Hillary has been reported that she had very poor book sales her last book. This will not hurt Cruz at all.....nobody cares that he can’t sell books or even if he could that doesn’t make his a bad candidate one way or the other.
I bought his Book the first Day it came out.
I’m hoping I might finally get a chance to crack it open this weekend.
Did you read the article? Apparently enough people are interested in Ted Cruz and did buy his book. You will have to find another lie to smear him with that hasn’t already been disproved. Why don’t you go support your candidate instead of trying to tear down a good conservative?
ROTFLMAO.....You are a trip.
I’ve done that too, sometimes- post without reading the article. It’s so embarrassing.
Why would you want to pollute a perfectly good swamp?
HarperCollins Refutes New York Times Claim That Ted Cruz Tried To Game Bestseller ListThis is making Cruz look smaller and smaller.
Meanwhile Trump is gathering steam by using issues people who aren't elite authors or NYT subscribers care about.
Ted Cruz is really blowing it here as well as doing interviews with dimwits that nobody outside of DC watches, reads or listens to.
