A Florida man was arrested after playing a guitar rendition of the national anthem on July 4, according to News 4 Jax.
Lane Pittman, 22, told the TV station that he was playing electric guitar in front of his friend's house on Neptune Beach home when a police officer told him to move out of the street.
Pittman says an officer gave him permission to continue playing on the sidewalk, but the Neptune Beach Police Department denies that.
Decked out in American flag apparel, Pittman wailed out a version of The Star-Spangled that drew a crowd of about 200 people. A YouTube video shows crowd cheering and applauding as he ends his performance, but then officers come and tell Pittman they need to talk.
