Coca-Cola removes their logo from cans for Ramadan

Coca-Cola is taking its name off some of its beverages to make a point. The company plans to remove its name from cans in the Middle East for Ramadan.
The soft drink giant's Middle East branch made the change as part of a campaign to combat prejudice....

Will someone PLEEZE explain why Coca-Cola is removing its logo from cans for Ramadan?
There's a lot of comments here, but neither they nor the article itself give ANY enlightenment why CC (or, indeed, any muslims) consider the logo to be offensive. Thanks.

The red can still has the iconic ribbon logo, but features the words: "Labels are for cans not people."Do these hippy-dippies realize that "people" and "Muslim" are also labels? Can they even articulate the point of this exercise?

Why are so many people and corporations rushing to bow down in submission before a violent, intolerant, lawless culture? Because they've been bought off or threatened.
It certainly isn't because they give a rip about religion.
