During a recent interview with Ammoland, Donald Trump described GOP establishment strategist Karl Rove as “a proven loser,” who crossed into ridiculousness via his statement on repealing the Second Amendment.

Rove came up in conversation after Ammoland asked Trump what he thought about Rove’s June 21 summation that the only way to stop or reduce acts of violence is to repeal the Second Amendment.

I know you weren’t talking to me but I had to weigh in. The only thing about Trump that is disturbing to me is his views on gun control... he spoke out in favor of “assault weapon” bans and long waiting periods. This tells me he’s willing to stray from the pure meaning of The Constitution and makes me pause in being able to trust him. I’ve heard him make general comments on the gaystapo stuff too, but he seems to just really not give a damn what they do to each other. I can respect that at least... as long as he is willing to apply the same thinking without bias... including religious freedom. But I just don’t trust him on that front either.
